As Alexis wakes up she soon sees Horse sleeping on a couch beside her bed.

"Horse?" Alexis asks as she wakes up causing Horse to wake up and run over to her.

"Alexis? Alexis! You're okay! I thought we lost you... I thought I lost you." Horse says in relief as she hugs Alexis.

"I thought you did too for a bit." Alexis says as she sits up in the bed.

"I'm so glad you're okay. You scared me. I don't ever want to come that close to losing you again." Horse says.

"It's alright. I'm not going anywhere. Have you been beside me the whole time I was out?" Alexis asks.

"Of course. I never left your side." Horse says as she tearfully smiles.

"Why?" Alexis asks curiously.

"I have my reasons but you're part of my herd. I wanted to make sure you were kept safe and cared for." Horse says.

"That's sweet Horse. Thank you." Alexis says as she smiles.

"Alexis why did you do that? You nearly got yourself killed. I know you were protecting Rider but still. It was reckless. You could have died. You almost did." Horse says worriedly.

"Why not do it? I was the closest one to assist. Anyone else would have been too late." Alexis says.

"But you could have done something other than blocking the hit." Horse says concernedly.

"It was all I could think of. I acted before I could think. All I knew was Rider was in trouble and if I acted a moment too late she would have been the one to be hit instead of me. I just did what I could think of." Alexis says.

"You're not usually so reckless. You're usually more careful and calculated." Horse says.

"I just didn't think before I acted Horse. But I didn't care long as I was able to protect Rider." Alexis says.

"But why did you want to protect Rider so badly to the point of being reckless like this? I know you and the others would always help Rider if she needed it but still. What were you thinking to be so reckless that you made a choice that got you severely injured? You could have done something else to avoid you and Rider both being injured. What were you thinking?" Horse asks.

"I was thinking that Rider is important to you. I wanted to protect her because she's our friend and because she means so much to you. I did it for Rider's sake and for you." Alexis says as she smiles slightly at Horse.

"But... You're important to me too." Horse says as Alexis looks at her.

"Yeah. But not as important as Rider." Alexis says.

"Rider is important but you're more important." Horse says.

"What? But all you ever cared about was getting back to Rider and keeping her safe. I know I'm part of your herd but Rider's your human." Alexis says in surprise.

"Yes but you're more important because... I have feelings for you Alexis." Horse says as she blushes and smiles.

"You have feelings for me?" Alexis asks as she blushes.

"Yes. You were one of the only ones who gave me a chance and was understanding no matter how stubborn or reckless I was. You encouraged the others to give me a chance when I would mess up. You were always there just like Rider. You became my closest friend alongside Rider. But that became something more to me over time. I began to see you differently over the time. I don't see you as a friend anymore. I see you as something more than that. That's why you mean so much to me. I love you." Horse says as she smiles and blushes.

"Why didn't you ever say anything?" Alexis asks curiously.

"Because I didn't think you'd feel the same and I didn't want our friendship to be ruined." Horse says ashamedly.

"Nothing could ever ruin our friendship. But I do feel the same way Horse. I have feelings for you too." Alexis says as she smiles at Horse and blushes.

"You do?" Horse asks in surprise as Alexis nods.

"Yeah. I do." Alexis says happily.

"That's amazing. Well since I know that there's been something I've been wanting to ask you." Horse says shyly.

"What is it Horse?" Alexis asks curiously.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" Horse asks as Alexis smiles happily.

"I'd love to Horse. What's that sound? Is that the others outside singing?" Alexis asks as she and Horse hear singing outside.

"Guys! You minding keeping it down? Also Alexis is awake." Horse says as she and Alexis go outside and see Rider and the others.

"Babygirl!" Wammawink shouts as she and the others run over and hug Alexis.

"Okay guys. Easy. Still not fully recovered." Alexis says as the others let her go.

*Timeskip*

"Now that centaurs and humans are gonna be spending a lot more time together we outta have a expert who has a lot of experience in both worlds helping us keep an eye on things. Someone with powerful magic and not to mention a sensational singing voice. What's say you Horse?" Water Baby asks as the group is gathered with the Shamans.

"What? I thought we were just here to eat cake." Horse says confusedly.

"And some of us still are." Zulius says as he is eating some cake.

"Say yes! Say you'll be a shaman!" Wammawink shouts as she hugs Horse.

"Yeah Horse. You'd be great for the role." Alexis says

"Me? A shaman? I didn't even go to Shaman school." Horse says.

"They made an exception!" Wammawink shouts happily.

"It comes with a house boat." Water Baby says.

"Sure. Yes!" Horse says happily as the others happily cheer for her.

"Wow. A shaman." Rider says proudly as she hugs Horse.

"Yeah. Congratulations Horse. That's huge." Alexis says as she smiles at Horse and nuzzles her only to wince slightly in pain.

"But I'm only gonna do it if you two will be there with me. You especially Alexis." Horse says.

"Of course we'll be there." Rider says.

"Yeah. We aren't going anywhere." Alexis says as she smiles before Wammawink hugs her, Horse and Rider.

"Just four best friends for fancy frolicking, traveling the world, going on adventures together. I've already made us matching scrunchies." Wammawink says before Rider's hair changes to a light purple color and becomes more fluffy much to everyone's surprise.

"So wow. So wibbly wobbly. So Centaurworld." Everyone says as they look at each other.

"Wait. What?" Rider asks as she feels her hair.

"Your hair looks good." Horse says as she chuckles happily before nuzzling Alexis as the two smile.
