Deep inside the forest stood a pine wood cabin with a picnic table on its front porch, surrounded by towering trees. The cabin looked weathered but inviting, with a warm glow emanating from its windows.

And on the other side there was a pile of wood used for fire as a dark brown-haired boy around the age of 17 cutting wood in half,

sweat beading on his forehead as he worked. His eyes were focused and determined, his muscles flexing with each swing of the axe. while the boy was busy cutting wood a dark-haired girl came outside.

"Adan," the dark-haired girl said getting the attention of the boy Adan turned to look at the dark-haired girl, his axe still in hand, and a small smile formed on his face as he saw her standing.

"What's up Addilyn" Adan said as he stopped what he was doing and wiped the sweat from his brow.

"Nova said to come inside," Addilyn said trying to keep her hands warm, a shiver running through her body in the chilly air.

"Why?" asked Adan as he threw the wood he cut in half with the rest of the pile of freshly cut logs.

"I don't know she just said to tell you to come inside," Addilyn said as both of them walked toward the cabin, their footsteps crunching on the fallen leaves and twigs.

The moment the two siblings walked inside they heard two people arguing about something, their voices filled with tension and frustration.

Adan and Addilyn exchanged a worried glance before silently agreeing to follow the sound of the voices. spotting the rest of the groups as they watched the two girls arguing. Leaning against the wooden railing, Adan and Addilyn fixed their eyes on Aaliyah and Kyleigh, who were engaged in an intense debate.

"That's stupid why did you even go out?" Aaliyah asked, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she stepped closer to the unfolding argument.

"Um, what are they arguing about?" Adan asked a girl who stood next to him, looking equally concerned as he listened to Aaliyah and Kyleigh.

"Kyleigh went out last night when she shouldn't have, and now Aaliyah is screaming at her for it," the black-haired girl said as she had her arms crossed

"Why the fuck do you care if I went out last night Aali?" Kyleigh snapped, her voice laced with frustration as she glared at Aaliyah.

"Don't call me Aali and I don't give a fuck but the others do", Aaliyah yelled, her hands balling into fists at her sides.

Addilyn and Adan exchanged another glance, their concern deepening. As the two girls continued to argue, tension thickened in the air, radiating discomfort onto the onlookers. Adan just stopped listening to them and instead turned to the girl standing next to him.

"Where's Kenji?" Adan's voice was tinged with worry as he searched for their missing friend.

"Upstairs with Kalen and Camari," the black-haired girl answered, nodding toward the staircase leading to the upper floor

"Does he know that Kyleigh and Aaliyah are arguing? " Adan finished, feeling a twinge of worry for the two friends. Adan asked as he looked back at the two girls arguing

"He probably does," the girl sighed, "but he's learned not to get involved in their drama.

"He's upset about it hasn't left the room since he found out, that's why Camari and Kalen are with him," the girl explained, concern evident in her eyes then she looked at Adan

"Makes sense," Adan murmured, feeling a weight of concern settle in his chest.

"Are you gonna stop them?" Adan asked, glancing at the two arguing girls
