Gemini's POV

"Are you okay?" Draco asked as soon as he shut his bedroom door. "You seem very upset."

"Should I be jumping for joy at the fact that my father killed Dumbledore?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow as I looked at Draco.

I know it's not his fault and I shouldn't be taking my feelings out on him, in fact I should be comforting him since he almost had to kill Dumbledore due to Voldemorts orders.

"I'm sorry." I spoke before he could reply. "Are you okay?"

His eyes fell to the floor, his body slouching as he ran a stressed hand through his hair. "What's going to happen now? With Dumbledore gone the dark lord could easily take over." He sighed out.

I gulped at the realization that he's just as scared as I am. He's been raised by a family that throws these ideals at him and yet he still wants the good guy to win. Someone along the line of him growing up showed him the good vs the bad and it stuck with him.

Before I could answer, a knock at the door emitted. Both Draco and I looked at each other tired of having to interact with anyone in this household, both of us just angry, sad and tired.

"Gemini." My father's voice spoke as he knocked on the door again.

"Go away." I grumbled as Draco waited for my answer on if he should open the door or not.

"You should talk to him." Draco said quietly.

My eyes snapped to his, a slight glare forming as I watched him try to be peacemaker instead of being on my side. "Aren't you supposed to be on my side?" I questioned.

"Part of being on your side is making sure you don't have a strained relationship with your family." Draco pointed out as he placed a hand on the door knob.

"We need to talk." My father sighed on the other side of the door.

Draco didn't give me an option as he opened the door, allowing my father into the bedroom. My face instantly hardened at his saddened eyes, how dare he be sad when he's the one who killed him.

"Can we go somewhere else?" My father said softly as he tried to not anger me.

"Why?" I scoffed lightly. "I'm going to tell Draco anyways, mine as well give him the show."

Draco didn't speak as he shut the door and leaned against it quietly, if anything he's going to keep me more calm during this he has the right to stay.

"The unbreakable vow Gem." My father started with a tired sigh.

I took a deep breath. This is my father I'm talking to, I have to stay calm. Expect the next words that flew out of my mouth were anything but calm.

"I wonder how mom would feel about you killing the one person who knew how to help her and help her daughter?" I laughed out sarcastically.

"I know how to help my daughter too Gemini." He spoke through gritted teeth, his anger starting to show.

"Do you? Or do you only know how to please the dark lord?" I spoke. "I mean come on!" I laughed. "What a bright idea it was to kill the one person not only helping me but also helping Harry Potter win the war! You screwed us." I spat with so much vile venom.

"Muffliato." I heard Draco mumble the spell as he waved his wand. The spell my father created to make sure no one could hear your secret conversations, no matter how loud we get.

"Do not speak to your father that way." My father hissed, his eyes sending me daggers. "I was also protecting your soulmate."

"And I'm glad he's protected!" I yelled. "But what about me? You think the order is going to like me now? You think the trio will trust me now? I'm supposed to help them but it's hard for them to trust me when my father just killed Dumbledore!"
