Kara's day at work had been interesting to say the least. Cat was back, she bought the company back from Lena. Snapper Carr was fired by her, making Cat her boss boss and not her bosses boss.

Around noon, Kara was currently standing in the printing room waiting for her layouts. When she had them she reread them and then took them to Ms. Grant.

"This is great, Keirah," Ms. Grant said as she finished reading them. Kara grinned, "Your friend is waiting in your office by the way," she added as Kara turned around.

Kara spun back, "What friend?" Her brows furrowed.

"I'm not sure what's her name. Though, she and Lena dress and look alike." At that observation, Kara grinned again and hurriedly left Ms. Grant's office and went back to her own.

"Regina!" Kara said when she saw the brunnette sitting on the couch, "What are you doing here?" Kara hugged her lover tightly.

"Well, I was around, and Alex told me where you worked, so I decided to drop by and see you. Cute note by the way," Regina teased as she kissed Kara.

Kara blushed, "Yeah. You were still sleeping and I didn't want to wake you 'cause you looked so peaceful." Kara explained as she noticed the rosed.

She looked at Regina with a smirk and a raised eyebrow. Regina blushed, "Shut up," she said looking down.

"No, it's sweet honestly." Kara said as she wrapped her arms around Regina's waist.

"When's your lunch break?" Kara looked at her watch, "In 10 minutes," She replied.

Regina nodded and sat back down, "Nice outfit, by the way. You look handsome," Regina winked. Kara blushed, "Thank you. You look perfect," Kara said as she bent down and kissed Regina again.

Kara was wearing black dress pants with a light blue button up, the first two buttons undone.

"Mhm. Finish working so I can take you out for lunch." Kara laughed and nodded before going behind her desk.

"Tough subject but what would your life be like if you were still on Krypton?" Regina asked out of the blue after 5 minutes of silence.

"Well, I would've been put into the science guild a few months after my 13th birthday, and when I turned 18, I would've been crowned King or Queen of Krypton," Kara shrugged as she typed away on the keyboard. Regina loved how Kara was so open about her life on Krypton with her.

"I forgot you were royalty," Regina said with a smile, "So are you, princess," Kara looked from the screen with a smile.

"Royal house of El?" Regina questioned as she kicked her legs. Doing the same thing, Kara replied, "Yeah. My parents were King and Queen of Krypton."

Regina looked at Kara with a loving look, "That makes you a princess, no?" Kara nodded but then thought about it, "Well, for the next 3 years anyway. My crowning would be on my 18th birthday," Kara shrugged as she looked at the sunset.

Regina grabbed her hand, "I'm sorry you won't get it..." Regina thought about adding 'And I'm sorry for leaving you and not seeing you again after this. Because, I will do that. This is it, Kara..'

Regina couldn't break Kara's heart like this. Kara looked at Regina as if she had personally gifted her the sun.

Regina does, however, make a mental note to try that.

Shaking her head at the memory, Regina brows furrowed abit "You said King or Queen?"

Kara nodded, "Krypton wasn't a planet of Gender. We were all...What's the word you guys have here?" Kara tried to think about it, "Ah. Genderfluid," she shrugged.

"So, you wouldn't mind it if I called you...Kaz-El?"

Kara shook her head as she chewed 9n her pen, "No. Also, did you just come up with that?" Kara looked at Regina amused.

"Yep." Regina watched as Kara powered her computer off and gathered her things with a smile.

Kara offered Regina her hand and she took it.

"Thank you," Regina said as she stood up. Kara nodded and opened the office door, closing it when they left.

They still hadn't let go of each other's hands and they weren't going too.

They walked to the elevator, completely aware of the curious stares coming from Kara's co-workers.

"Where are we going?" Kara asked excitedly. Regina laughed, "Where do you wanna go?" Kara stopped and so did Regina, "Mm..That restaurant we used to go to all the time?" Regina nodded with a smile.

"Regina, where are we?" Kara asked her bestfriend, "A restaurant. I wanted to take you to dinner as a thank you for becoming my best friend." Regina pulled Kara into the restaurant.

She then dragged her to a booth and they both sat down, "You don't have to thank me for that," Regina nodded, "Yes, I do. Most people wouldn't touch 'The Evil Queen' with a 10 foot pole. But you..." Regina stopped short.

"Well, you're not the Evil Queen yet so," Kara joked. Regina laughed, "No, I am not. But would you still be my friend if I were?" Kara nodded with a huge grin, "Of course, I would! You could create a bunch of potstickers for me!"

Regina gasped in mock offense, "So, you're just my friend for free food?" She pouted and Kara smiled, "Mmm....And I enjoy your company," Kara added with a wink.

The two stared at each other for a moment before laughing out loud causing a few heads to turn.

Regina sighed happily at the memory.

"What're you thinking about?" Kara asked as she and Regina walked to a black Mercedes. Kara could tell it was Regina's. She and Lna had the same taste. However, how she got the car is not a question Kara wants to answer.

Regina sighed and went to grab her keys from her purse only to look up when she heard a metallic sound. She sighed and looked up at Kara with an unamused expression, "You are not driving," Regina protested causing Kara to groan.

"Why not?" Kara whined, "Why not? Because you almost killed us last time." Regina retorted, "Last time? That was more than 10 years ago!" Kara protested. Regina rolled her eyes and held her hand out.

With a huff, Kara sat the keys in their owners hands.

"Thank you," Regina gave Kara a peck on the lips before walking to the other side.

Kara rolled her eyes with a smile, "Yeah, yeah," she replied as she got into the car.

"The one in Midvale?" Regina questions as she starts the car. Kara thought about it, "I only have an hour for lunch so I guess not. There's one that just opened a few months ago on 5th and Maine?" Kara turns to look at Regina.

"Alright," Regina smiles, "Your smile is very pretty." Kara complimented, smiling when she saw the pink dust on Regina's cheeks, "Thank you, mi reina," Kara laughed and Regina smiled wider.

The car began to move and the two talked as if no time had past. They couldn't be happier. Regina was happy for the first time since she found Henry. She finally had her happy ending.

The End.
