The final day of the competition had arrived, and it was time for the cheerleading squad to take center stage.
As Sunoo stood on the sidelines, adorned in the team's vibrant colors, he felt a different kind of anticipation coursing through him.His heart pounded with excitement as he mentally rehearsed their routine one last time.
"Sunoo, you ready to burn the court with those moves?" Jungwon's booming voice interrupted his thoughts as his best friend bounded towards him, his own enthusiasm infectious.
Sunoo let out a laugh at his best friend excitement " ofcourse! We've practiced non-stop for this moment and it's on field, Jungwon." Sunoo replied, a determined glint in his eye.
Jungwon's grin widened as he spoke, his eyes sparkling with unwavering confidence in Sunoo's abilities. "Whether it's the field or the court, you're going to dazzle everyone out there. And believe me, I'll be cheering the loudest for you."
"That's my job," Sunoo laughed, his gaze momentarily wandering in search of Sunghoon's presence.
Jungwon's expression shifted, noting Sunghoon's absence. "And Jay said Sunghoon couldn't come here because he's getting a serious scolding by Jake hyung."
A tinge of anxiety crept into Sunoo's voice as he inquired further. "Why? What did he do?"
"Something about not being able to focus on the game. I think it's because of your breakup-" Jungwon's explanation was cut short by Sunoo's interruption.
"I'm going to see him," Sunoo declared, rising from his seat and making his way toward the area where the football team was preparing. His eyes landed on Jake, perched on a nearby bench, taking a moment to hydrate.
Approaching Jake, Sunoo greeted him respectfully. "Hello Jake hyung, can I meet with Sunghoon?"
Relief washed over Jake's face as he responded. "Thank god, Sunoo, you're here. Yes, that boy is in the locker room. Please tell him to do well, or we're going to lose today."
With a nod of understanding, Sunoo headed straight for the locker room. Upon entering, he spotted Sunghoon in the midst of putting on his jersey.
