Due to your work, you had to move overseas. Which now put you, and Satoru, into a long distance relationship.

It's been well.

You guys call, text, and send stuff to each other.

Now, it's been a year, and you're finally able to return back home. You wanted it to be a surprise so you didn't tell Satoru. But when on a call with him, he could sense that you were more giddy than usual...

"What's got you so happy?" His tone was the usual, cocky, and flirty.

"Hm? Oh, nothing, nothing. I just had a good day," You spoke, placing your phone down onto the desk and putting it on speaker.

"Good day, huh?" Satoru asked softly. His voice always put a smile on your face. Especially if he were to say those words.

"You don't sound like someone would with just a good day," his tone and voice filled with amusement. "Unless you're lying to me."

"Nah, I'm not lying. I genuinely had a good day,"

"Alright, then, I believe you," his voice full of flirtation that you couldn't help but grin more.

You knew your beloved could hear the grin on your face.

"Good, because I'm not lying!" You glance over at the time, "Hey, it's late for you right now. Why are you calling me so late?"

"Because I miss you," his tone made you blush a bit. It was always a cheesy line whenever he used it. "Your voice makes me so happy. No matter what time it is."

"I miss you, too."

"I wish we could actually be together physically right now," his voice full of longing. "Your body feels like home to me..."

"Yeah, me too. But we can eventually,"

"I know," he paused, his tone soft. "We just got to wait a little longer. You want to know what I've been doing to cope with missing you?"

"What's that?"

"Cuddling your hoodie like it were you. I even use a pillow to pretend I'm hugging you," he paused, "It may seem corny and stupid, but it actually makes me feel much better."

"That might make me cry..."

"In a good or bad way?" he paused with a chuckle.

"Good way...? It's just... that's really sweet, and sad at the same time."

"It might be corny, but just remember I do that because I love you so much. And can't wait for you to be back in my arms," his tone filled with love and affection. "Do you cuddle one of my stuff while missing me?"

"I just sleep in one of your shirts every night,"

"And here I was thinking I was the only one doing something corny," he chuckled. "You have no idea how sexy you sound when saying that. Cuddling in my stuff while missing me. I love it..."

"You're such a dork."

He laughed a bit, "I like to think of myself as 'your dork' though. I'd rather be the dork of the one I'm in love and crazy about than anything else."

"That's sweet," You glance at the time again, "Well, I'm gonna let you go. Get some sleep, alright? Text me when you wake up."

"Alright, sounds good," he paused. "Talk to you later. I love you so much. Sleep well, and dream of me."

"I love you more. Goodnight."

"Goodnight, love."

You hung up the call and were a blushing mess now. You were finally going to see your love again, and it was like butterflies were running through your stomach.
