Things we can not explain.

Chapter One: The Rapture

Year 2111 April 22nd/ 14:00 pm.

Many used to believe that our little planet is the safest place universe where nothing can happen, and we can live in harmony for eternity. However, on this fateful day, the world would change forever. This is when humans attempted to play god and decided to create an artificial black hole after years of studying, the brightest scientists that this world has to offer figured out what's inside a black hole's singularity thus allowing them to have a deeper understanding of what triggers it. What they found is that at certain times, a mysterious space anomly happens in our space, sort of like a dimensional distortion where space crashes with itself from different directions, resulting in a collision which opens a portal that acts very similarly to a wormhole thus creating massive gravitational pull that sucks everything into that same portal which is called the "singularity of a black hole" consuming everything on it's path. After finding out this secret, humans wanted to take advantage of the energy of the phenomenon and built various machines that allowed them to collide space, creating an artificial black hole. However, they didn't think about the risk that it brings to the table. So, they prepared a research facility on a remote island and began their project.

Year 2111 April 22nd/ 13:00 pm.

A 17 year old japanese student named Enji goes home early, but before going home, he texts his childhood friend Ikki, a fellow classmate, as well they hang out and talk as always they have a special park that they would always go after school and have a drink they would always talk about the girls they have a crush on. "Maannn, i really like Runochi from class B....The way she smiles always gets me!" Said Ikki. "You always talk about her, yet you never talk to her. You're a shy guy, huh." Replied Enji with a playful tone. "I guess i am, huh?" said Ikki, and the two friends laughed together. After an hour of talking, the two friends noticed something strange going on in the sky. Enji looked up and immediately pointed at the sky and said, "Yo Ikki, you see that? Or is it just me?". Ikki looked up, and he saw that the sky was sort of getting darker pretty fast. Ikki looked at the time, thinking it's nighttime already, but it wasn't, and then a sudden wind started blowing, and the animals around started going crazy. Ikki and Enji stood up, ran out of the park, and as the wind was blowing stronger and stronger when they looked at the sky, they saw a huge storm coming. Before they could evacuate the area, the wind became so strong that they weren't even able to walk. The sky became darker, and the wind started blowing even faster, and the people all around the world started screaming in panic. The same scientists who worked on the artificial black hole screwed up, and now the world gave birth to a full-fledged black hole. "IS THIS THE END OF THE WORLD!?" Shouted Enji to his friend. "IT REALLY DOES SEEM LIKE IT WHAT ARE EVEN GONNA DO?" Replied Ikki with a question. The boys didn't know what was going on, and they were holding onto a statue of a japanese hero near the park. The world was facing its end. Everyone and everything was being pulled into the singularity. As the pull got stronger and stronger, people started flying towards the singularity. Ikki's grip was starting to get weaker, and suddenly, a huge boulder fell down to the area the two friends were, and small rock pieces started hitting them, some of which knocked Ikki out of balance. Enji grabbed Ikki's hand while holding the statue with the other. "HANG OONNNN!!" He shouted. Ikki was gripping his teeth, trying his best to hold his hand while half of his torso was on the air. "LET GO OF ME, AT THIS POINT WE BOTH WILL DIE!!"  shoted Ikki at Enji. Enji started struggling, holding Ikki and the arm that he was holding the statue with started to get weaker. "NOOOOO!!" Screamed Enji as loud as he can. More rocks started falling, and the wind got stronger it was a catastrophe. Ikki realizing he can't hold anymore, he intended to let go of Enji's hand, but before he could do that, a stop sign blasted onto him, and he was sent flying in the distance. Being almost knocked out of balance, Enji gripped the statue with both his hands. "DAMMMNN ITTT!!!" He gripped his teeth as he was letting out tears slowly. He just lost his best friend and all the while, not knowing what caused this drastic change in the world. He watched people get squashed like bugs, mothers slamming into buildings with their children, and it was the biggest tragedy humanity has ever faced. Knowing Enji had no escape of this, for the last time, he looked at the sky and saw a black hole sucking everything. At this point, all his friends, his family, have most likely died even if they didn't they were going to. It was unavoidable. Enji cursed at his luck and existence. "Why was i given life if this was my fate, God?" He thought to himself. "Ahh, i see it's because we are born to die." He chuckled one last time before letting go of the statue. He let his arms free, and as he was getting pulled into the black hole that now had risen into the heavens, it seemed like time slowed down for him and was ascending as well as the same statue that he held on so long. He entered the black hole, and instead of being crushed, everything went black. Enji lost his consciousness. It was as if there was nothing. He didn't know anything, but at the same time, he was relieved. All of a sudden, after drifting into the darkness, he saw a white spot it was sort of like the end of the tunnel. He was approaching that light unintentionally after he got closer and closer it got brighter and brighter after he finally reached it. Everything went white, and he felt like he was dreaming, and he just had to wake up. He slowly opened his eyes, and he saw a dark-haired young woman smiling at him and seemingly holding him. He checked his surroundings, and it appeared that they were in a wooden cabin his vision was very blury. When his vision got clearer, he decided to check out his body. What he saw was shocking. He was a baby just given to this dark-haired woman's arms who was a complete stranger.
