Call it wried say I'm just looking to prolong this quest but something wasn't right I knew it I think we all did. It just doesn't make sense it was over we knew who stole the lighting bolt it was Clarisse
But something was wrong I just knew it wasn't her I mean clarisse could be horrible and cocky but she wasn't a thief
She was horrible to Percy even Grover once but that was who she was loud and obnoxious trying to cover her real feelings she wasn't a walk in the park but she was my friend Mabye not officially but we had an understanding and that alone was enough for me to know she never took that lighting bolt
I was standing with Percy I liked my lips before speaking up "there's no prof" I said softly my voice still strained for yelling on our quest Percy glanced at me his eyes staying locked on mine
"About Clarisse ?" He said after a moment I nodded "I just -" I was cut of by Luke approaching us Annabeth following after him
"She's right there's no prof agian Clarisse we can't go start making people chose a side when there's no prof" Luke spoke as Annabeth nodded along to what he was saying showing she agreed with him
"Have you asked to speak with Chiron" I asked glancing at the boy with a scar then back to Annabeth who smiled softly at me before nodding
"Yes I have me and Percy shall go tell him however I asked to speak with him away from all the others and Clarisse friends" Luke spoke up me and Annabeth looked at each other both silently agreeing to stay and watch over Clarisse
"We'll stay watch over her make sure nothing happens" Annabeth spoke strong and so confident I wanted to agree so confidently is well but my gut was telling me something else was wrong but I still nodded
Percy must of seen through me as he quickly grabbed my arm pulling me into a small hug is hands wrapping round my waist softly holding me close before whispering in my ear "be careful she could still have done it although you don't believe it" he then pulled away before going of to Luke and walking away
I was sitting in my cabin not being able to shake this felling of something being wrong so I grabbed my large golden bow and a-row the only gift my father Apollo has ever given me and turned of to find Annabeth
However she must of had the same idea as me because there she stood sword in hand and cap in the other "you felt it to?" She asked I nodded "somethings wrong Annabeth it wasn't her I know it I'm not being naive" I said Annabeth nodded
"I'll use my cap you become invisible cant have anyone following us" she grinned showing me she believed me causing me to grin and do just as she had said before running of and into the wooded area
It happend so fat one minute Luke was trying to get Percy to talk more and not be in his head thinking so much the next thing I see is Percy's mind turning a million miles per minute clearly realising something we had yet to
Me and Annabeth glanced at each other making sure we were on the same wavelength
"And you shall be betrayed by the one who calls you friend" Percy said slowly "you couldn't tell Chiron because clarisse didn't steal the bolt you did" he said his eyes widened twice there size and all hell broke lose
Luke had been working with Kronos and had been plotting against Percy all this time the sweet boy who I have speared with the sweet boy who told me that he would protect me against my bad dreams was so vile how could I have been so blind to see this
Annabeth u couldn't imagine this for her the look on her face the pain in her eyes the whole world had just fell for her her brother not biologically but her family had broken his promise to her and now he was going to pay for what he did to her for what he did to Percy he would pay
As Percy swinged his sword cutting Luke his eyes flow wider as he was quick to apologise but Luke had backed him down to the ground cutting him and with out a thought I pulled the arrow back as it went spreeing threw the air and hitting with a sharp spark of light against Luke's sword cussing in to stand back slightly dripping the sword but never losing his grip
Annabeth stood taking her cap of beside me and Luke gaped staring at her his eyes filling with shame and disgusted by his actions she raised her own sword "Annabeth" he breathed looking at me "Y/N" he spoke slowly to us
I ran over to Percy as fast as my feet could humanly carry me pushing him back down to treat his wounds after Luke had ran into the portal my hands pressed on the deep cuts on Percy's arm and focused hard all my energy being used to repair his wounds as best as I could hearing Annabeth yell to me to stop because I was going to far
But I wouldn't I couldn't I loved him I loved Percy Jackson and it was me or him in that moment and I chose him I will always chose him
He tried his hardest to push me of so I wouldn't use to much of my strength but I pushed as hard as I could felling the wound close and Percy grabbing me into his hold I sat there holding him back just as tight as could
Not wanting to let him go ever I cradled his body against mine felling him grip the back of my shirt and he took large deep breaths in and out allowing himself to breath probably and he sobbed into my shoulder letting out all this built up pain and stress
So there I sat in Percy's cabin him laying next me as he had confessed to before afraid to be alone but what I didn't know was he was yes afraid of being alone but he wanted Y/N there because he loved her with all his heart as she did him
"Thank you" Percy spoke as we lay on the floor faces looking towards the celling soaking up the quit and peace "for what" I asked grinning my head to look at him "being there for me" he said coping in my actions
I smiled "I will always be here for you Percy Jackson" I said he smiled "I will always be there for you" he said u went to speak but Percy cut me of sitting up cussing me to copy him and sit facing him
" I love you I knew when u came to camp when you believed in me when you trousered me enough to talk to me about your father Apollo when you proctored me when you-" I cut Percy of by smashing my lips against his knocking him down to the floor with me in a passionate kiss throwing all my love in it
"I love you more" I said softly pulling away for him to stare into his eyes he grinned at me before smashing his lips on mine again
"OH MY GOD" was heard as me and Percy pulled apart to see a wide eyed Grover standing there covering his eyes and bumping into the door saying something about how Chiron heated to see Percy
I laughed as I got off of Percy giggling "come on big guy" said patting his shoulder before standing up he colter me giving me a quick Kiss " better be here when I'm back" he grinned his hair all messed up I laughed "I'm here" I said watching as he walked away trimming to grin at me
