It's been some time since the defeat of the Digimon Emporer, and while you and the others are still doing work on the digital world, you've all decided to focus on other things,as there's no rush to destroy all the control spires now.
It's Gym class, and you're currently doing track laps around the gym while the others like Davis and T.k. are playing basketball, and Kari is practice dancing with the other girls. You can't help but get distracted by Kari's appearance in the gym uniform,along with her graceful dancing

Above the gym, hidden in support bars( not sure what they were standing on in that episode) Gatomon,Patamon,Demiveemon,Kudamon, and Meowth were watching everyone.
Gatomon: You gotta love Kari's cat-like movements. I taught her well.
Meowth: This reminds me of how I learned to speak.
Gatomon: Yeah?
Patamon: Why don't you tell us, Meowth? I'd love to know how you learned to talk.
Demiveemon: Yeah,how come you're the only Pokemon I've seen that can talk?
Meowth: It was several years ago; I had fallen in love with a female Meowth that was owned by an upper class woman. She turned me down because I wasn't anything like the human woman that provided for her. So I trained myself to walk upright and I stayed in the attic of a singing school. after months of learning,I finally managed to start talking and walking like a human....but still,that Meowth rejected me; told me that I was a freak .
Gatomon puts her arm over Meowth's Shoulder,making Demiveemon jealous.
Gatomon: Well if you ask me,she missed out.
Meowth: You mean it?
Gatomon: Yeah. You know what that story tells me? It tells me that you're determined. That you go a mile for the one you love. Not many tomcats show that kinda effort.
Meowth: T-thanks Gatomon.
Kudamon stares at the two in confusion. Maybe it's because he hasn't lived long,or because of the way he's programmed,but the concept of love is to some extent,a foreign concept to him. Despite this,he at least is glad to see a strong connection amongst his peers.
After the final few laps,Kari approaches you with some water.
Kari: Here, it's Mt.Moon spring water. Pretty high quality water.
You take a sip and you get almost instantly reenergized. Even though Mt.Moon water is commonly distributed to team Rocket members,you still couldn't get used to the taste of it. It's that amazing!
Y/n: Thanks,Bane.
You kiss Kari on the cheek
Kari: So, wanna go out Friday night?
Y/n: Of course!
Kari: Wow. You barely hesitated.
Y/n: Well,what did you expect? You're my girlfriend, you're the light of my life. As if I'd ever blow off a date with you.
Kari blushes
Kari: Thanks....even after...that... I'm still very happy that you care so deeply for me.
Your heart sinks as you really can't forgive yourself in full for that
Y/n: "That" will never happen again. And if Dragomon or his goons show up,me and my guys will deal with them! I'll be dead before you marry Squid-face!
Kari smiles
The bell rings, and the 2 of you head to your respective classes. The upcoming date,still permeating your thoughts.
