Avni let out a shriek, her heart racing. She twisted around to see who had startled her, only to find me, grinning mischievously.

"Gotcha!" I exclaimed, my eyes dancing with amusement.

Avni's initial shock melted into a mixture of relief and annoyance. "Kabir, you scared me half to death!" she scolded, trying to catch her breath.

I chuckled, sliding onto the bed beside her. "Sorry, couldn't resist," I said, nudging her playfully. "You ignored me, so ,I couldn't help but sneak up on you."

She rolled her eyes."Well, consider it payback for all those times you've troubled me."

I draped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her close. "Not Fair enough," I admitted, my tone softening.

She freed herself and moved away. Despite our fake relationship, moments with her made me wonder if there would be ever something real between us.

The tension crackled between us as she glared at me, her frustration palpable. I couldn't help but smirk, knowing I had gotten under her skin.

"Did you save my number, Penhor?" I demanded, feigning innocence.

"Are you still stuck on that?" she retorted, her voice laced with irritation.

"Of course, I invested my money on that. Such poor customer service, Penhor," I shot back, my tone dripping with sarcasm.

Her disbelief turned into determination as she grabbed her phone and shoved it towards me. "Here it is. Now, get out. Before I scream and people come running," she threatened, her eyes flashing with defiance.

I raised an eyebrow, unfazed by her annoyance. "Good girl," I teased, knowing it would only rile her up further.

"Now, get out"

I chuckled, unfazed by her ultimatum. "You can try. But no one can get me out of here until I want to," I replied, flashing her a wink.

"So, what should we do now, fucking dance?" she snapped, her frustration boiling over.

I shrugged nonchalantly. "If that's your wish, we can. Just warning you, I'm not a great dancer," I admitted, playing along with her annoyance.

She shook her head in disbelief, her annoyance evident. "I'm done with you. Either you're leaving, or I am," she declared, her tone final.

I gestured towards the door with a smirk unable to resist teasing her further. "There's the door,"

She huffed in frustration, looking adorably annoyed. It was hard to resist her in that moment, even when she was at her wit's end.

"Okay, if that's what you want," she muttered, her tone defeated, and began to make her way to the door. But just as she reached for the handle, I sprang into action, rising from the bed and reaching out to grasp her hand, pulling her back with surprising force. Startled, she stumbled into me, her back colliding with the wall as I pinned her there with a firm grip. Our eyes locked in a silent battle of wills, the tension crackling between us like electricity.

In that moment, all was replaced by an undeniable pull toward one another. Without a word, I reached up to gently brush a stray strand of hair away from her face, my fingers lingering against her cheek as I drank in the sight of her.

Her lips parted slightly, a soft exhale escaping as she leaned into my touch, her eyes fluttering closed. The air between us seemed to hum with anticipation as I closed the distance between us, my lips hovering just inches from hers.

And then,I closed the final gap, capturing her lips in a tender kiss. It was like fireworks exploding in the night sky, a rush of emotion coursing through me as I poured all of my longing and desire into the kiss.
