//DAY 1//

Today is the first day for freshmen.
I became a second year so quickly...

"Finally! Our dorms are changed! I won't have to look at your shitty face anymore."
Rick said with his hands in the air.

"Playing hard to get? I know you love it sweetheart." I played along.

"You remember that girl Hanna? From skatepark?"

"Yeah? What's up?"

"The skatepark is owned by her sister, she invited us. we should go there sometime again."

"You wanna seduce her sister or something."

"Of course."

"Yu Xiang, don't you have a class soon? Come along with us."
His new roommate from afar called out to him.

"Yea I better go. See you later."

"Yeah go."  I've got so much time on my hands. A while ago I couldn't even breathe. I should go help the council president in welcoming the juniors. Maybe I'll get my gloves back.

"Skylar! Man I was looking for you! Here are the keys and the name list you gotta give these to the entrants. These are the dorm keys. Imma go take a dump."
A senior I often meet called out.

"Now I have something to do."
I made my way towards the main hall.

"Hey man."

"Oh hey, you've got the keys, right?" Jiyuan, our president asked.

"Yep right here."

Soon the freshmen started showing up and I forgot that guy's face. Nice.

"I'll take a bathroom break."
To be honest I was getting tired sitting. I needed to go on a walk. The atmosphere was the same when I came here. Some are quiet and determined to learn and provide for their parents in future, some are having fun, some don't care and some are worried about their little siblings because they left home.
So many people...
It's been a while now, I better go back and continue.

"It's getting boring now. Can I do something else? I've been here for an hour." I complained to Jiyuan.

"Shut up and do your job. Also, a junior left these for you while you were on your bathroom break." Jiyuan gave me my gloves.

"Oh yeah? What was his name?" At least I have my gloves back now.

"How would I know? I forgot." Jiyuan shrugged.

"Fine." There are less people now. Only 6 keys are left.

"I think you should go. You've been here for way longer." I said to Jiyuan.

"When did you become so nice? Anyway thanks. I'm off then." He went away showing me a victory sign. The moment he was about to exit the hall he looked back and smiled.

I was soon done with everything and packed up. I was keeping the name list in a drawer and a shadowy figure appeared.

"Remember me?" He asked.

"Gloves?" I asked.

"Yep." He chuckled at the name.

"Look kid, if you don't tell me your name I'll keep calling you gloves."

"I'm Zihan."
