Chapter 7

{*The Date Begins*}

Everyone was in the living room, Ava and Noah were trying to fix and old camera that Mrs.Oats gave them.

"This is a relic." Ava said as Most of the Daemos were behind the island in the kitchen.

"A relic?" Rhys repeated.

"Is it powerful?" Asch asked.

"Can it kill someone?" Leif asked.

"It's gonna kill us with how complicated this thing is gonna be to fix." Ava replied to Leif's question only to get hit with another question. All the boys were currently in there human clothes as they were about to head out but then Mrs.Oats asked Noah and Ava the fix her old camera.

"You can fix a relic?" Rhys asked

"It depends, but I'm sure we can fix it" Noah answered.

"Mrs.Oats brought this over and asked us to fix it for her. She's gonna pay us a lot to do it. She's probably gonna use it to take pictures of you guys. " Ava explained.

"Why would she want that?" Leif questioned.

"Well, she has a big fantasy, she thinks you guys are my boyfriends and at this point I don't wanna argue with her anymore. She's advanced in her years and close to a peaceful death; plus Ava and I like her a lot, so if anyone asks you're my boyfriend's or something." Noah explained.

"It's funny, elder humans here don't seem to be as terrifying as Lady Grandma." Leif said which Ava rose an eyebrow to.

"Lady Grandma?"

"yes. She's the former queen of Daemos; and one of the most powerful." Rhys explained.

"So that would make her Asch's grandma." Noah muttered.

"Just finish fixing the relic. I want to see how it works" Asch command.

"Remember when Ava took a picture of you guys in here phone?" Noah said holding up his phone.

"No." Pierce said shaking his head, which made Ava internally sigh.

"Noi remember when we were taking pictures together on my phone?" Noah asked.

"Yeah! It was kinda silly but fun!" Noi said.

"That's exactly what the relic is but a very old version of it." Noah explained.

"Could I take a look?" Rhys asked with admiration.

"Yeah go ahead, it won't hurt you." Ava said.

"It's fascinating, it has so many ruins inside of it." Rhys said looking inside the camera by the camera part.

"Those are called: Bolts, Nuts, and Gears." Noah walking into his room to change into something else.

"What are those?" Rhys asked.

"They hold everything together and make things work." Noah said walking out of his room while putting the shirt on. "I'm gonna attempt to fix this.

"Could I help?" Rhys wanted to learn more.

"Yeah, I'm sure Ava won't mind seeing as she won't be doing anything." Noah said outing Ava.

"Hey, you jerk! I can be helpful!" Ava said.

"Oh yeah? Can you pass me the screwdriver?" Noah asked smuggly.

"..What?..OH! yeah!" Ava exclaimed.

"Got you for a moment huh?" Noah said chuckling.

"Shut up." Ava replied.

Noah then got on his laptop and looked up how to fix an old camera. Finding the tool box, both Rhys and Noah started working on it with a bit of help from Ava.
