How to construct one:

* Find what you are going to write about

* It follows the normal stance of normal poems

* Should be in 1st person

* Try to make it rhythmical (if it suits you)

My favourite subject of all......HISTORY!

Lyric poetry are one of the oldest forms of literacy! And its origins come from classical Greece. It was usually used in plays at the time in Greece, William Shakespeare used it in his plays to( according to kiddle or whatever).

It was usually accompanied with lyre,flute,flute, or other instruments. They usually concern great ideas and the histories of peoples and countries. Other than Greece , other countries created Lyric poetry like: Rome, India, China and Japan.
