Leo's POV

"Tick tock!", ticked the clock every minute the long hand turned to the left. Leo had been locking himself in bunker 9 for so long, working on his projects to try to keep Calypso from living rent-free in his mind.

One of his projects had been a cute ordinary pearl bracelet - or was it really ordinary? That "ordinary" bracelet can be turned into a weapon with just a secret code - now, what weapon? Well, to be honest, Leo hadn't decided that yet. The purpose of making it was to give this bracelet to Calypso on their one-year anniversary, but things did not go to plan like he hoped. Of course, Calypso left, Leo was devestated, the whole sha-bang to a sob story. Since then, he had stopped working on that project, or actually put it on hiatus because Leo kind of gaslighted himself into thinking Calypso was going to come back to him. For now, it had won the reward of sitting in his workbench at bunker 9, waiting to be touched again.

Leo was working on his new project - building a door for bunker 9 with a secret passcode. He was sketching the blue print when someone suddenly bursted into the room.

Leo rolled his eyes. Really? You could've just knocked!, he thought. This is why I needed a security password!

"Hey, bro!", a female voice echoed.

"What do you want, Pipes?", Leo asked annoyingly, not taking his eyes off his blueprint.

"Cmon', Leo! You've been trapped in this miserable plac-"

Leo suddenly got up and stared at Piper menacingly. "Watch your mouth! Don't say that about my baby!" He gestured to bunker 9.

"Aww, that commentary about this boring place is so cute! 'watch your mouth! Don't say that about my baby!'", Piper cooed mockingly.

Leo's eyes did a 360. "You came here yesterday, and the day before, asking me to hang out with you and Jason. I actually went out with you guys once, solely because of your charmspeak. It's not going to work again! Just- stop bothering me."

"But it's-", Piper started, but Leo interrupted her.

He finished Piper's sentence by saying "-different, I know."

"But really, it is! It's not going to be me and Jaso-", she said, but Leo interrupted her once again.

"You're making me frustrated. Like- if you, me, and Jason were in a movie, I would be the third wheel."

"Stop interrupting me!", Piper frustratingly said. "Please! It's not going to be me and Jason, but there's a new camper who just arrived 4 hours ago, and I want you to take that chance and show her around camp tomorrow!"

"You said her, right? I'm not going on a date with her.", Leo firmly stated.

"Pleaseee!"

Leo had went back to focusing on drawing his blueprint. "U-huh, what do I get from doing that?" There was no way Piper could convince him to go, unless she used her charmspeak.

"Well..I won't annoy you for a week, and if you still don't accept-", Piper responded, "-then I will have to just forcefully make you do what I say with my powerful charmspeak", she sighed, making it seem like she was actually devestated for him.

"Fine", Leo sighed. "I'll do i-"

"Really?", Piper squealed. "I didn't even need to use my charmspeak!"

"You didn't even let me finish."

"Whatever! I'm going to let Mr. Chiron know that you'll do it! He'll be estatic!", Piper exclaimed, finally satisfied by Leo's response.

"Why?", Leo asked.

"I don't know! I've never met her, but people who volunteered to do it today felt her 'aura', and suddenly said they couldn't do it." She looked off the the side and sighed, but suddenly looked straight at Leo, pointed a finger at him as if she was accusing him of murder, and said, "But you better do it!"

Leo looked unsure. "I don't really know now, Pipes."

"No! You already said it. I swear, if you don't do it, I'll make you swear on the Styx!"

"Fine!", Leo exclaimed, frusturated from all of Piper's yapping. "I'll do it."

The next day, Leo met with Piper at the cabins.

"Alright, so I met her and talked with her, and she said she'll be coming here in.." Piper glanced at her fansionable watch. "At..1pm!" Then, she glanced around the camp, moved closer to Leo, and whispered, "I feel something..dark about her. It's like..something I felt with Nico, Hazel, and Nyx & her kids' children. I don't really think she's a child of Hades though, because if she was, Hades would be actually breaking the promise between the big 3 long ago."

After Piper left, Leo was a bit worried on the new girl. What if she was a tratior?, he thought. What if she was Octavian disguised as a girl, waiting for the right time to pounce on the camp for a sweet taste of revenge? What if she monster in desguise? No, Leo thought. There's a camp border pushing all the monsters out.

Then, he heard sounds coming from the Hermes cabin. Then, he saw her walking out.

Short Author's Note

Sorry guys this is a little shorter than ypu probably expected! This was all actually made in a day, so yeah. I keep pushing this fanfic into like w day until the deadline because I feel really demotivated because of some personal reasons. Heres some changes that I'll be making:

1.I will put these updates to 2 weeks. This will ensure I will focus on posting higher quality videos while also making these chapters longer! Yes, 2 week is a long time BUT this change WILL only be temporary. I will be changing the begining A/N to say "2 weeks", but i will change it once I know I am more motivated.

2. Like you saw, there were something called "hype questions." These are questions that are going to help you be more hyped for the next one! I will also be putting this on the beginning A/N.
