There used to only be 1 being in control of the creator, Kiko. They took care of everything and kept the creator in shape. But when time came... Kiko vanished. And since the creator was becoming unstable; the soul had to be split in two and had to go under... new management.

"Uugh.. I'm so bored, Kiko! Why couldn't I bring Levi with me? He'd make this more fun." Nene whined, pouting.
"Unless you want him to be a participant, I'm not letting you bring him. He's too dangerous for this." Kiko mumbled in reply, mainly focused on driving.
"Fine, but where even are we going? This place doesn't seem familiar." Nene asked.
"We're getting the people on the list; and we have to follow the numbers.. You know who's first." Kiko says with a lining of deceit.
"Oh yeah! I really like her! Hurry up, lets go!" Nene cheers, Kiko mumbling for her to calm down as they speed down the road of Shibuya.
From another perspective we find Fuan Ushina, who is walking home from her practice with her band. She seems content with it and she has the usual cheerful skip in her steps as she walks through the rainy streets of Japan. Humming one of their new songs to herself as she goes. Someone follows behind, her footsteps silent as she gets closer, until...
"Eh..?!"
Fuan feels herself being pulled towards someone, the softness of their weirdly plump chest catches her off guard as what seems like a bow is pulled into her neck, blocking her airway. She tries to fight, but the person keeps up with an awfully cute but sadistic giggle. She struggles and struggles, until she starts feeling weaker, and ultimately gives up as she feels her world go black and she falls to the floor. Nene appearing as the culprit.
"Haha, one down, nine more to go~!" She happily says to herself as she picks the unconscious harpist up and hauls her over her shoulder as she toddles back to Kiko.
After what seems like forever, the two hosts have riled all 10 contestants up, each taking turns.

They're now waiting for the players wake up, Nene trying to get in contact with Levi and Kiko sharpening her scissors. After a couple hours they hear..
"HUH?! Why do I have these.. Rags on?! I'll admit, they're quite stylish, but these arent my jewels, or pearls, or.. ANYTHING! Where are we?" A posh, angered female voice speaks.
"Toms, calm down. You're tantrum is going to wake these.. people, up." A calmer male voice tries to soothe the woman.
One after the other, the participants wake up. The clothes designer with the brown and blonde hair, the small snail child with blue and purple hair, the doctor with long, brown hair, the aforementioned harpist with her blonde and pink striped hair, another child but with salmon coloured hair and the arachnid-looking creature with black, tied up hair. They all stand in the open space, finding their friends and discussing what on earth is going on.
"Uhm.. Isn't it best if we all introduce ourselves, as a group?" A girl in a school uniform with dull, pink hair tries to speak, but is interrupted by a sound, a voice then fills the tension-filled air.
"HELLO EVERYONE!! You're all awake now, so I'd like you to have a warm welcome to.... drum roll please.." Nene enthusiastically interrupts, but nobody follows her order. Nene continues.
"Tough crowd..., but anyway welcome to The Vessel Project! I'm your first and waay cuter host Nene! And this is the second, weirdly miserable host, Kiko!"
"Yo." Kiko says, seeming uninterested and a little bit offended.
"..Ahem, anywho, we've collected you here to test your teamwork, survival skills and your combat. You all are from different universes, so we would like to test how different species interact too. And at the end you'll get to see us two in REAL TIME!.. and miight have to fight us, but don't worry there's weapons in the maze~." Nene explains cheerfully.
"W-what maze..?" Fuan questions Nene.
"Right.. You all will have to go through a maze and try to find a way to get to us! There will be items and all along the way, and we might be in the maze, OR the other vessels. But all of this will be explained later, let me introduce you all!"
Nene proceeds to introduce them:

004 - Meisei Beaumont; The Crime (The calmer male voice)

006 - The Mimic; The Reflection (Undescribed)
007 - Omoi Takao; The Victim (The Snail Child)
008 - Ms. Tenshi; The "Saviour" (Undescribed)
009 - Koromaru; The Drought (Undescribed)
010 - Namida; The Perfection (The dull-pink haired School Girl)
Fuan Immediately takes notice of the Snail Child, Omoi,'s Title... "The Victim".. Seems concerning. She decides to go over and talk to the child.
"Hey.. I'm surprised children here, how are you, little one?" Fuan asks.
"Oh.. I'm doing.. Fine... Where are we, miss?..." Omoi shakily replied.
"I'm not sure, but would you like to stick together? You seem pretty fragile.." Fuan calmly spoke.
"I'd like that.. Thank you, miss.." Omoi replied, with a slight smile.
The blonde and brown haired boy, Shidou, comes over, ruffling Fuan's hair.
"Heya, Fufu! Seems you've got a pal here. I've found one too; the other guy here loves fashion so I'm gonna stay with him, 'kay? Love ya sis!" Shidou exclaims.
"Love you too, Bro." Fuan nods, as Shidou walks back to the calm man, Meisei Beaumont.
"It seems you all are well aquatinted.. This is great~! We can start now!" Nene cheers.
The walls before the contestants begin to move now, revealing 2 pathways, each bending in a different direction— this seems like the maze.
"Woah.. That seems scary." Namida mutters, the other child in a wheelchair, Koromaru, by her side.
"I'd say, I cannot believe we are being forced to do this! Outrageous." Tomi grumbles, being interrupted by Tenshi, who says:
"Calm down, ma'am. It won't take long for us to leave." Tomi looks at Tenshi and groans, trying to find a way to the maze when a bright flash of light blinds the contestants. And the familiar seeming green hair and pink outfit of Nene appears in front of Tomi. Her stepping back into Tenshi again.
"Woah woah woah! I have a line to say before you guys go. But first I'd like to explain.."
Nene then tells them about the many places and items they can find in the maze, and how they can even run across the hosts from time to time. There's also weaponry and potential blessings; but that'll be inquired later on. And the two hosts have 2 vessels each that can be found too, some docile some minorly hostile. They'll also find some rooms that have either supplies in them or a little safe spot from all worry; and even Nene may be in the area to offer something useful!
"Now then.. You all shall be permitted to enter the maze! And to our beloved audience out there..."
