"Young miss, do you still prefer not to return home?" Mr. Lee inquired, his voice tinged with genuine concern as they navigated the unfamiliar roads, the passing hours weighing heavy on his mind.
"I'll inform you if my decision changes, Mr. Lee. For now, please stay focused on driving." Sana responded firmly, her eyes meeting his through the rearview mirror, conveying her unwavering determination.
"Of course, Young miss." Mr. Lee replied, a hint of apprehension coloring his words as he resumed guiding the vehicle along the winding path. Grateful for the full tank of gas and the backup stored in the trunk, he silently prayed for a swift resolution to their journey.

As the clock relentlessly ticked towards the twenty-fourth hour, Mr. Lee found himself battling both exhaustion and hunger, his weariness matched only by his unwavering concern for the young miss, Sana.
In the midst of their prolonged journey, Sana's voice cut through the thick air, drawing Mr. Lee's attention with its urgency. "Mr. Lee." she called out, her tone conveying both determination and weariness, "please, pull over."
Despite the weariness that weighed heavily upon him, Mr. Lee's reflexes responded, guiding the car to a gentle stop by the side of the road. His tired eyes widened as he beheld a lone figure, a young woman, her weary form hunched over as she clutched the strap of her backpack tightly, her features pale and drawn from exhaustion.
Sensing the need for assistance, Mr. Lee turned to Sana, seeking her permission to offer aid to the weary traveler. "Young miss," he implored, his voice tinged with concern, "allow me to assist her to the car."
With a nod of weary acquiescence, Sana granted her approval, her own exhaustion evident as she sank back into her seat, seeking a moment's respite from their arduous journey.
The night air was biting—no, it was freezing cold—as Mr. Lee stepped out of the car, a shiver running down his spine. Each breath formed a fleeting cloud in the frigid air as he approached the young woman, who gazed at him with squinted, desperate eyes.
"P-please." she stammered, her voice barely audible and strained with panic. "Help me... my Nanna, my Nanna, sh-she needs help..." A violent fit of coughing interrupted her plea, heightening Mr. Lee's concern.
Gently, Mr. Lee placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder, feeling the frailty of her shivering form. "Don't worry." he reassured her softly, his voice calm despite the urgency of the situation. "We'll help you and your Nanna. Let's get you into the car where it's warmer."
Carefully, he guided her to the car, opening the door and helping her inside. As he settled her into the back seat, he glanced at Sana, who observed quietly, her eyes reflecting a mix of exhaustion and empathy.
"She mentioned her Nanna." Mr. Lee explained, closing the door gently. "We need to find her quickly."
Sana nodded, her resolve strengthening despite her weariness. "Let's hurry." she urged. "We can't leave anyone out here in this cold."

Sana's eyes were fixed on the woman beside her, her fingers gently tucking a strand of hair behind the woman's ear. The woman was beautiful, and Sana found herself captivated, a feeling she couldn't quite understand. She had always considered herself straight, so why did this stranger, found on an unknown snowy road, stir such emotions within her?
