A day had passed when a tragic incident occurred in the Potter's house. Danger had arrived as Voldemort appeared, unaware that another Potter child had been born. "Lily, go get Harry and Joule and run!" shouted James Potter. "I will try and stop him and slow him down." However, James had forgotten that he and Lily had given their wands to Dumbledore. Lily rushed to the room where her two kids were and closed the door behind her. "Be brave, Harry and Joule Potter. Mommy and Daddy love you both. Please protect each other," said Lily to her children.
While James was attempting to slow down the dark lord Voldemort without his wand, Voldemort entered Godric's Hollow, and with a green flash of light from his wand... He killed James Potter.
