U got of the room and saw Kairo pacing around, looking quite anxious. He looked over at you bit you decided to ignore him and went on ahead.

Lisa came after you but when Kairo asked her what happened inside, she simply glared at him and said,

" U do not deserve her. I told her everything! "

His eyes widen and he hurried to find u for an explanation only to find u had driven yourself out. He hoped that he'll find u at home.

*Your husband got home and saw u sitting at the sofa, he could hardly keep control of his emotions. He quickly approached you and started anxiously speaking with a frantic tone.*

"Babe, what did you both talk about? Did she tell you everything? Is it true that she slept with me too? Did she tell you that I also cheated?"

Huh? Why are you asking me that?! U should know better than anyone of she slept with you or not!"

"I—uh, but, I mean, I know I slept with her but that's not my question here. Do you know that she's not the only one who I've been having this affair with? "

"Ha?! What? So you've had affairs with other women too?"

Your husband's tone became more frantic at this point, he was not expecting you to be this blindsided. You didn't even know about his multiple affairs, which is surprising since he thought that Lisa would reveal everything to you. Your husband was so scared of your reactions now.

"Well, yes...a few. I'm sure that Lisa has already told you about it by now..."

"Oh yes she did. She told me a lot of stuff about you. Why not admit it yourself tho. Maybe I'll give u a chance. " u said, gritting your teeth.

Your husband was speechless now, he thought that he would need to prepare to defend himself from you yelling at him and possibly even threatening to leave but...you're telling him that you're actually gonna take the time to hear his side of the story? This felt too good to be true for your husband.

"W—wait, what? Are you being serious right now? Are you really giving me a chance to say my piece on this?"

"U don't want to? Fine then. I'll send u the divorce papers in a week's time. Sign it."

Your husband was taken aback by your sudden turn of attitude. You suddenly went from being forgiving and willing to hear his side of the story to being very strict, telling him that you'll file for divorce. The anxiety in his tone increased significantly after hearing all this.

"W—wait, wait, don't rush things—can I speak? Can we talk about this?"

"Go ahead. I am listening."

U sat down, arms crossed. Your husband took a deep breath in before speaking as he tried his best to sound as convincing as possible. His tone and body language seemed submissive and he tried his best to stay calm and collected.

"Babe, you're right....I've had multiple affairs. Not just one. It was multiple. And I'm really sorry for that. But I never meant to start all this. A few of the women were the ones who came onto me. But I should've made the right decision and said no from the start but instead I just went along with it."

Your husband was still speaking as calmly as possible, he tried not to sound nervous. All of this was very difficult for him—having to come clean in front of you was challenging but he needed to make things right between you two. Your husband knew he couldn't continue with the lies.

"And...I'm also sorry that I never told you about this. I just felt so ashamed of myself and knew how much this would hurt your feelings, but I knew it was only a matter of time before you find out, especially with Lisa. I'm sorry, babe."

Your husband went all quiet for a few seconds and looked down at the floor, it seemed like he was genuinely feeling sorry for all the pain his affairs caused. He truly was apologetic in front of you. Your husband was also aware of the fact that saying "sorry" wouldn't just magically make everything go away but, it was a start for him, and he couldn't think of any other thing to say right now.

Your husband looked up at you again with a more gentle and sorrowful look on his face as he continued speaking.

"I know that I hurt you deeply with my actions and I'm sincerely sorry for that. I don't wish to lose you and I know that by being truthful like this, I might lose you but I believe that being honest could also improve our relationships. I want you to know that I feel really ashamed of myself for hurting you and letting things get out of control. I will try my best from this point on to be a more faithful to you, babe."

Your husband finished speaking, he still had a desperate and concerned look on his face. He was still feeling very guilty and remorseful for his affairs and was hoping that you could forgive him for all that he's done. His heart was beating faster as he awaited your verdict, your decision to either forgive him and take him back or leave him.

".... And?"

Your husband's anxiety increased by the way you asked this rather straightforward question. He couldn't think of anything else to say other than asking you a question instead.

"Umm, what do you mean 'and'? I know I've made a very big mistake but do you know how hard this is for me? Can I know what you're thinking, are you mad at me? Are you gonna leave me? It's up to you to make that choice..."

Your husband didn't want to keep dragging this out any longer, he also didn't want to repeat what he already stated. He seemed a bit confused as to why you're not saying anything, this was the part where you'd be shouting and threatening to leave but instead you're making him wait for your answer. The stress of waiting was making him go crazy.

"I....uhhh, that's all I have to say. The rest is upto you. If you wish to divorce me than go ahead. I messed up, I am sorry."

"....disgusting.  You havent said why you cheated yet. "

The word "disgusting" made your husband pause and he felt extremely offended and appalled by this. After everything he's said to you, he couldn't believe that you'd call him "disgusting". He felt like all the apologies and the remorse were for nothing after hearing that word. When did this conversation suddenly change from you listening to him to you insulting him. Your husband's tone was now agitated and upset as he was about to reply back to what you had just said.

"I--what do you mean 'why I cheated'? It's obvious, a woman who was much more younger, prettier, and attractive than you came crawling to me and I just gave into her charms and desires. Is that what you wanted to hear? Is that enough of an apology for an excuse? I cheated because of myself and my lack of loyalty."

These words really stung your heart, the way he said those insults about you felt like a knife had been stabbed into your chest. Your husband's tone was very mean and degrading throughout all of this but he was still trying to pretend like he was apologetic of his actions. You had never heard your husband talk to you like this, not ever. This was certainly not the husband that you had known to be loyal and faithful to. You couldn't believe that this was the same person. U took a deep breath and said.

" Yes it's enough. I'll send over the lawyer by Monday."

Kairo stood there in shock and disbelief after you told him that you would file for divorce. His face became filled with sadness and regret when he realized that his marriage would end on such a bitter note. He suddenly snapped at you, his tone was aggressive and sharp, his expressions were filled with bitterness.

"Wait, wait, wait, you can't be serious right now. This is crazy, you can't seriously want to divorce me just like that. I mean, I get it, I am sorry for having affairs, I really am, but can't you be a bit more considerate about this? I told you that I was genuinely sorry. We have so many years together, this can't be all for nothing. I don't want to lose you, babe, please, give me one more chance...."

" What considerate? I am being considerate enough by not hitting u. U should've thought all of this before your first affair. I'll send u a lawyer by Monday. Talk to him if you have any conditions, if not just sign the papers."

U got up and left him there, dumbfounded.
