I had woken up from the noise of a door slamming shut. I quickly shot up in bed making sure to look at my surroundings. Tai was no longer next to me. even though we slept in each other's arms last night the least he could do was let me know. I rubbed it off and stood up, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.
I placed my feet inside of my slippers heading towards my bathroom to begin my skincare. I opened the door to my bathroom being met with a shirtless tai.
oh. I thought to myself
He quickly noticed me standing there and chuckled under his breath." Did I wake you?" he questioned me. I shook my head not being comfortable with speaking for the pure fact my breath was probably nasty for real. He nodded realising why I wasn't talking. he moved out of the way of the sink and stood in the doorway watching me brush my teeth as well as my skincare routine.
After being finished in my bathroom I began to walk out of my bathroom, of course, my door being blocked by this tall ass nigga. I shook my head "Excuse me, sir, I need to get through". I said sassily. he chuckled pulling me in for a hug. I looked up at him smiling, inhaling his scent in the process.
he let go of our embrace and looked at me, "Were you the one that slammed the door?" I asked him. He shook his head "Might've been your ma". he responded back. We left my room and headed downstairs. I was greeted by Romeo waiting for me to feed him as well as my mother.
"Good morning Mother".I said to her "Who slammed the door earlier? Tai thought it was you?" I said, forgetting that my mother didn't really know Tai like that. Apart from them occasionally meeting each other. also forgetting that my mother didn't know he was here.
