Here on this planet, alone. I stand and think about how it was before the atmosphere started to thin and the heat got excruciating.
I miss the days when my friends and I used to play in the meadow on a nice summer day. We skipped rocks out on the lake and swam until our legs were numb. On one faithful day the atmosphere started rapidly thinning.
It became hotter and hotter then it became hard to breathe. Every breath was pain. Most people left to find a new home on a better planet. Not everyone could afford it. So now I sit here, waiting for my time to come.
