"I gotta go, I don't wanna miss this flight." Tate says getting up.

"I'll walk you out." I say.

Tate smiles and I get up.

"It was nice to meet you, Taint." Max says.

Tate rolls her eyes and Max chuckles. I open the door and we walk into the hallway.

"This trip did not go how I expected at all." Tate says, as we walk down the hall.

"That a good thing or a bad thing?" I ask as we go down the stairs.

"Well, I met you so I'd say it was a torture good thing." Tate says

I smile and nod.

"Are we ever gonna see each other again?" I ask.

"Of course. I'll fly you out to Canada and be your tour guide." Tate says.

"I'll look forward to it." I say.

"There's something about you and I just don't know what it is." Tate says.

"What does that mean?" I ask.

"You make me feel some kind of way. It's a fuzzy feeling, it's one I haven't had in a minute." She says.

"Maybe you're in love with me or some shit." I say, jokingly.

She laughs and I smile. I hug her and she smiles.

"No goodbye?" I ask as she walks out of the building.

"Goodbye means forever." She says.

"Movie-ass quote." I say.

She laughs and I smile. I go back up the stairs and walk back into my dorm.

"Off to LA she goes." I say.

"You gotta marry her." Max says.

"What?" I ask.

"You gotta marry her." Max says.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" I ask laughing.

"I've known you my entire life and no girl you've ever been with has ever made you look at them the way you look at her." Max says.

"We're just friends." I say.

"So you look at her and don't feel anything?" Max asks.

"I didn't say that..." I say.

"Exactly my point." He says.

"It's complicated. She's my type but I'm not sure if I feel that way. I mean, I joked and said she was in love with me." I say.

"What?" He asks.

"Just now. She said I give her a fuzzy feeling so I said she must be in love with me." I say.

"A fuzzy feeling, aka romantic feelings." He says.

"It's gotta be a different kind do feeling. She said she hasn't felt it in a minute." I say.

"Obviously! She was doing long distance with that asshole who was very clearly sleeping with other girls. There was no love in that relationship." He says.

"You and her may not know it, but there are growing feelings. It's just a slow burn." He says.

"What do you know about slow burns?" I ask.

"I speak for all men when I say we all done watched our fair share of girly romance movies." He says, holding his hands up.

I laugh and he smiles.

"Vance hasn't tried to call or text you?" Olivia asks.

"I've got him blocked." I say.

"Oh." Olivia says.

"But you know who has called me?" I ask.

"Who?" Olivia asks.

"Y/n." I say.

"I have to say I'm a little jealous." Olivia says.

"Why?" I ask.

"You've bring Y/n up into every conversation." Olivia says.

"What? No, I haven't." I say.

"You just did! And I told you I broke my arm when I was a kid, then you started talking about how Y/n missed 5 games because she fell and broke her pinky toe." Olivia says.

"Tate." Olivia says.

"What?" I ask.

"Do you have a crush?" Olivia asks.

"Why would I have a crush? I just got cheated on less than 5 days ago." I say.

"You did the same thing with Vance and Cole. You wouldn't shut up about them." Olivia says.

"We're friends. And the only reason I'm not crying over Vance is because I'm young, hot, and sexy. Nobody should stress me." I say.

She laughs and I smile.

"She gives me a fuzzy feeling though. Something I never felt with Vance or anybody else, really." I say.

"Could these fuzzy feelings be romantic feelings?" She says.

"I just said-" I say.

"Just think about it for a second or two, maybe three." She says.

I sigh and look up at the ceiling.

"Maybe, but it's like, I'm not sure if I really have feelings. I don't know if I really want her or if she's just the perfect opportunity for a rebound. And even if I knew, how would I know if she wanted me?" I say.

"Just sit on it for a little. And if they are true feelings, you'll just have to take a risk on telling her. But honestly, she'd be a damn fool to turn you down." She says.

I smile and nod.

"You're the best." I say.

She smiles and I hug her.
