"follow me this way!" shouted the doctor, River smiled and ran up next to him. They walked up a long never-ending set of stairs that stopped at the top of the Eifel tower. You could see all of paris from the top of that tower lights, people, landscape, it was absolutely beautiful."Wow" River exclaimed, this is beautiful. She leaned over to the doctor and tenderly kissed him on the cheek. Blushing he said "What was that for" River replied "because I love you." They both smiled and looked out at Paris "You do realize I have more in store for this evening right?" asked the doctor "I wouldn't mind if this was all we did" she answered "can we just forget about the other plans for a few moments and just admire what we are looking at right now, right here?" The doctor grinned and replied "Yes it is quite beautiful, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to stay for a few more minutes."
Both the Doctor and River looked out on the beautiful view smiling. "Thank You" said River "for what?" asked the doctor curiously "for not making this trip about saving the universe and for once making it about,us" The doctor put his arm around River and leaned his head against her's "my pleasure" he replied, and they just stood their looking at the world from the clouds, watching it pass by for several minutes. River took her diary out from her bag and asked the doctor kindly if she could write for a few moments, at first he protested but gave in after several seconds of river explaining to him that it was important to her that she record this memory before it is gone forever.
