I couldnt believe my eyes, what'd I just done. Id basically, in my eyes, sold my soul away to be imprisoned and turned into most likely a slave or laughing stock. I went to try and smudge it but everything went black.

I'm not sure how long its been, but soon I woke up with a gasp in a dark area, there was a blown out candle to my left, and a book of empty pages infront of me. It caught my interest and I'd made sure every page was blank. Was this some kind of joke?? Am I actually alive again?? If so, then why am I here?

It felt like a burning pain when I tried to move my arms at first, but after a second all the pain was gone. Replaced by numbness, and then, nothing. I'd then realized I was holding a pen, one of those fancy pens that royalty would use, instead of the quills I was used to. It felt weird as thoughts raced in my brain, but I began to draw.

I always had a fascination with many things, drawing being one of them. Nothing interesting just some landscape with large mushrooms and trees. Even if it was just in ink, I enjoyed how it turned out. It was lovely. I chose to leave it open and let it dry, and try to actually sleep, my brain basically used all its energy on thoughts.

I didnt get much sleep at all when I was awoken by a crashing sound nearby, I flinched awake. My attention was drawn to lights coming from a sort of doorway. I made my way to it with a feeling of confusion and questions running in my head, when I had made it to that "doorway" I took a peak. It was the same actors I'd been seeing everyday back when I came to the circus while they were in my town. I thought that I was dreaming, what am I doing here??

After then, I'd remembered the contract I had chosen to sign in blinding speed. I was trapped here. Then, a hand had been placed on my shoulder, which went away soon when I punched at whoever it was. When I'd came to my senses only then did I realize, I had punched Tonny right in the nose. I'd knelt down next to him, and checked for any real injuries, thankfully just a nosebleed. "I'm so so sorry, Tonny!! You startled me and and it caught me off guard so-" he had cut me off as he shook his head gently, "It's fine, my bad."

I helped him up, still worrying for him since well, I did just punch him in the nose. He did seem fine, choosing to just plug his nose with a paper towel. He took my hand and made me follow him to what seemed like an office, presumably his office.

After what felt like hours, which in reality was 3 minutes of him searching through his desk. He handed me a contract, the same one I signed in that land where I was dead. He simply requested I confirm my choice to follow the policies of the contract in return for eternal life. I nodded, and soon had my name signed on that same piece of paper, again. Soon after he brought me to a bedroom, telling me I had roommates but they were out at the bonfire.

Initially I wanted to ask to see it, out of my own curiosity, but decided against it and to instead sleep on it, and try and decide what act I'll be doing for the circus in the morning. It would be a difficult decision, but I would get it eventually, I hope. Sleeping on it always helps, right?

It has been 4 hours, its 3 AM, and I cant sleep. I chose to get out of bed and be quiet, also choosing to ignore my roommates and not see who they are as it didn't really matter to me. Instead, I went out in search for a way to get water, eventually stumbling to the cafeteria. It was very large, and a half of the side wall was lined with a sort of bar like array of cabinets and sinks. I went behind it and grabbed a glass sadly not able to find anything besides tap water but it'd do. I was taking a sip when I started gagging and coughing, wrong tube. I set the glass down a bit loud as I coughed some water up, eventually coming to my senses and not coughing anymore. I hope I didn't wake anyone, though I did, and id realize that soon when a voice called out, startling me.
