CHAPTER 5

The dinner was completed and people started to depart to their home's or hotels

Every one had good time with eachother

After a fun conversation with Jaiswal shubman decided to go home and went to parking lot to get his car
He found eda talking to someone in a tensed tone with her eyebrows frowned he went towards her and decided to ask what happen

Shubman : what happen you look tense?

Eda : my manager had a accident on the way to pick me up and now he is in hospital...there is nothing much to worry it were minor injuries....that's what he was telling

Shubman : did you book cab or something

Eda : no...I have to

Shubman : you know what just don't....it's already past 10 ...I'll drop you home

Eda : it's okay ...I'll manage

Shubman : it's totally fine....I was also not going home.....I thought of roaming around the city

Eda : if that's what you say then...thanks...I come with you

Shubman opened the car door for her and went to his driving seat and asked her to type address on google maps

Shubman : congratulations for your award...and not to forget the speach was amazing

Eda : was speach really good or you are just flattering me

Shubman : no I really mean it

Eda : thanks

Shubman : so...are you studying or just cricket

Eda : I am an architecture student

Shubman : wow....it's little rare to see people in this field to Persue a proper degree

Eda : I had to..in childhood when my family had this conversation of making me cricketer...my mom was like 'do whatever you want.. it's your life but your never ever gonna ignore your studies '

Shubman : how did you manage then

Eda : I still don't know...how I used to manage school, practice,exam, tournaments....my mom made sure that I wasn't left behind in studies..you know right in this field we don't know what will happen next...one single match can end your carrier

Shubman : yeah thats true.....a player must put his all efforts without any remarks

Eda : and if that player is misfortune....then his efforts sometimes don't go well

Shubman : I think in our life our parents played a huge role in carrier making

Eda : totally agree....so ... when is your next match?

Shubham : I'm in my resting period

Eda : same goes for me.... resting periods are the best after a series

Shubman : I was really impressed by your world cup journey....every match you played your best.... sometimes more than best

Eda : what was your favourite part of my game?

Shubman : the finale match against Australia when you hit six sixes in an over.....I was totally in love with you

Eda : huh??? ...with me

Shubman : I mean your game

Eda : my game huh.... thanks.

A sudden tension arose between them....an unpleasant silence

Eda : my personal favourite match of yours was the come back you gave in England test match after world cup.... everyone thought your chapter has closed....but you proved them wrong

Shubman : yeah ..that test series though me an huge lesson...that century was for my fans who supported me through out that series despite how ever I was playing

Eda : how is it now...your heart your emotions

Shubman : it was not as hard I thought....I was hurt that she choose someone else over me....it was not like we were still together or  she cheated on me ...we already broke up...i still don't know why I reacted like that but now I feel how stupid I was to cry on it..... Today she is happy leading a new life and im happy for her....and all thanks to you

Eda : I didn't do much it was you who passed thought that phase

Shubman : I wasn't alone eda....you were there with me throughout that phase...you just didn't knew

Shubman said facing eda..a sudden unknown emotions rise in them before they could realise what to name that emotion Shubman broke the eye contact

After a while they are reached eda house and it was time for her to leave

Eda and Shubman came out of the car

Shubman : this is where you stay

Eda : yeah top floor

Shubman : it was a great time with you eda

Eda : it was indeed

She said with a smile and seeing her smile for him gave him calmness and peace

Eda started to walk towards the elevator and Shubman got into the car

He mentally slapped him self saying ' why didn't I take her number .....I don't even know when I'll meet her again' but then suddenly there was a knock on the window

Shubman : what happen did you forget something?

Eda : yeah something important...give me your phone

Shubman : my phone?

Saying this he gave her his phone and she started typing something on his phone ...she gave is phone back as she was done

Eda : I saved my number on your phone ....call me when you reach home

On hearing this he was internally screaming

Eda : bye mister prince

She  said bowing to him in an royal style
