The war was over and with it, a new school year approached the young black children. With their parents waving at them as the train headed to hogwarts Wizarding School, Cassandra and regulus knew that they would be okay.
For now at least...
And with a very pregnant arabella at home, let's just say Sirius' break from the kids wasn't as much of a break as he had hoped for, with a tired wife and two overly excited godparents who were James and lily potter as well as an equally exited uncle Remus. Who had been named as Cassandra's godfather only a couple of years ago.
But for now, peace was fulfilled and they would just have to wait for what the next adventure had in store for them.
But would everyone survive?
And will the mourners really have enough time before they are the ones being grieved...
