Hello! I've been given this diary for some reason . . . I've literally never had one before so this is my first time writing in one! Today has been full of firsts, mainly because today was my first day at the Ministry! I well and truly embarrassed myself during my Summoning this morning though. I was Summoned in a wooded area around the back of the Ministry, which is quite usual for Earth ghouls. Apparently, I sorta materialized from some low laying fog, which is not common for Earth ghouls. I am mixed (Earth and Air) so I assume that had something to do with it, but I am, first and foremost, an Earth ghoul. I managed to catch a glimpse of my reflection in a puddle next to me and I looked like I'd been dragged through a bush backwards, as my ghoul elders would say. I met Sister Imperator which was nice I guess. I'd heard stories about her when I was younger but she didn't seem that bad in person. I also got to meet the current head of the Church, Papa Emeritus IV. He seems very sweet but slightly scared of me, which is a first because no one was scared of me back in Hell. Apparently, he has a bunch of ghouls though so it's not like I'm the first ghoul he's ever met.

I got showed around a bit after. I'm secretly hoping I get a map of this place soon because I literally have no idea where anything is. I was introduced to all of the ghouls and ghoulettes that work for Papa Emeritus at the minute and they all seem really nice, the ghoulettes in particular. Oh yeah, I should mention! I'm working for Papa Emeritus now!!! Well, not right now. I technically don't start till tomorrow but AAAAAAHHHHHAHHAHAHH!! I can't believe it!! I'M SO EXCITED!! I've always wanted to work in the Ministry and it's like one of the most sought after jobs down in Hell!! I'm just so glad I got it!! All I hope now is that I'm good enough for the job and I make loads of new friends, as cringe as that sounds!

My room here is super nice! Apparently, the ghouls of the current leader get some of the best rooms in the whole of the Ministry which is really cool! I've also just had my first shower in my new room (I've got an en suite!!) and I even got a bathrobe!?!?! Unfortunately, I've come to the conclusion that I do not like its texture, so it's gonna live in the back of my wardrobe forever now. At least I got some cool soaps though! Even if they do look strangely edible . . .

My wardrobe is pretty barren at the moment. It's only got my uniform, pajamas, and that bathrobe. It does give me an excuse to go shopping though so I'm not complaining. Also, I found this big book on my bed when I came in. It's like a book of rules or something. It's just a bunch of stuff about how to speak to different Clergy members and what to wear on different days and at different times and stuff like that. Nothing I didn't already know to be completely honest. Anyway, I tried on my uniform and it fits pretty well, well, very well. I don't know if they guessed my measurements or they're hand-me-downs but my trousers are super tight and I'm not sure if it's on purpose or not . . .

Currently, I'm sat in bed, watching TV and eating a bowl of green grapes. I've never had grapes before but the ghoul who gave them to me said that green ones are the best. I think they're right because they are very nice. I've had a bunch of ghouls come to see me since I got here. One of them who I met earlier is called Rain. He's very kind and has let me borrow some of his clothes! I'm wearing his grey shorts and his black t-shirt. Not the most fashionable things I've ever worn but they smell wonderful, like rain, funnily enough. Hopefully, I'll maybe be able to be friends with Rain some day!

Thankfully, I've been given the day off for sleeping because Summonings are very tiering for ghouls, so I'm gonna go finish up my grapes and then sleep until tomorrow morning. Hopefully, I should get a good 20 hours of sleep. I don't think I'll be able to sleep though because I'm too excited for tomorrow!!

Bye bye! ~ Cumulo
