The couple sat in their cabin watching love jones . There was something in particular about this film , it raised the tension between the two and brought out a more lyrical and poetic side of them . The 2 watched as Darius was made to sleep on the couch and then went up to Nina's room feeling frustration.
As the 2 watched they glanced at each other , their looks had meanings behind it and what they watched reminded them of them selves and situations they had been in a few years back.
It was getting late and the 2 took their cups of hot chocolate down to the kitchen before doing their routine for bed . Once that was done they slept side by side clingily holding onto each other and feeling each others warmth feeling grey.
The feelings they had for each other were a soft but grey feeling , in the best way possible . They're love was complex , enigmatic and poetic . They're love gave you multiple ideas in your head that you don't know how to word .
And by poetic I mean the way they spoke to each other in a soft loving tone that almost sounded like a love poem. For example in love jones poems were used to represent attraction and love but in this case they're love is representing sentimental and love poems in a sense or that's just the vibe it gives off .
" I love you " Vanessa whispered softly then kissing his cheek. " I love you more ." He whispered back kissing her all over then going back to sleep.
MORNING:
The 2 had woken up feeling that they had explored Colorado enough during their vacation and wanted to spend the day in bed .
The 2 teens slept a lot , their reasoning being the fact they were anguished, sad and wanted to stop being consumed by thoughts . They had issues they couldn't tell a soul , they only had each other . Notti lost Vanessa once and it wont happen again .
They played another film named " the hate you give"and when the scene of Khalil dying came Vanessa felt a certain way seeing that it was similar to how her father died . She remembers shedding tears and vomiting just like starr was .
Notti noticed this and turned off the film , playing sirens by sonder and then hugging her and rubbing her back in a circular motion.
" you know , in a little we' ll be in Canada living the life we dreamed about and thought would be unrealistic for us ." Notti began .
" I know whilst growing up you were exposed to a lot and didn't get to see much , but I promise imma take you everywhere ." He stuck his pinky out , she did the same , they both intertwined them kissing their pinky's .
" I love you Notti , that means so much to me ." Vanessa gratefully said . " you don't need to call me my streetname , keep callin me E." he said sternly. I nodded at this and went back to taking a nap letting the calm music in the back contribute to putting me to sleep along with E.
