Many speculated that Kay was in love with this girl . This was thought for many reasons , there had been many times that Zion would see Kay staring into the younger girls eyes in a certain way . Zion knew his friend , he knew what that look meant and his sister was too innocent to get involved with him . This obviously was something that Zion had a problem with and the age gap .
Kay knows that Vanessa isn't dead , he knows this because before Javarni died at that party he noticed she was the dead girl and compared her face to the ones in instagram pictures . He FaceTimed Kay asking if that was the girl and he confirmed, so he had Javarni take pictures of her and send it to him.
Kay wasn't necessarily happy or upset with the fact that Javarni is dead but what he's certain of is that he wouldn't want Vanessa actually dying .
What he plans to do with this picture is threaten to leak it if she doesn't agree to meeting up with him .
If she doesn't meet up with him at the arranged time the picture will be leaked and she will be brung to him by force once found .
He honestly meant no harm and knew how this could affect the girl but he needed to contact her in some way .
Back when he was under the impression that she was dead he shed real tears . Kay was nonchalant and barely shed a tear when one of his workers or friends died .
But for her , he cried . He also started to drink a lot more and had her as his profile picture and posted her with a caption that was a long paragraph on how much he cared for her .
This surprised many and fans since that was supposed to be his rival and many questions were raised . He shut all of that down and let everyone know that there was no hard feelings towards her and that it was only towards her brother .
He said that that girl was like a little sister to him but he knew deep down that it was more to it and he loved her .
If he revealed his love for her that would put a lot of things in jeopardy. That would hurt his friend , her brother , Notti and others .
Whether kay admitted it or not he missed the bond he and Vanessa's older brother had .
