Chapter 1

Y/n pov

Today is the day. The day my whole life will change. I sit in the back of the car listing to music while Micheal is driving and Carla is sitting in the passenger seat. Micheal and Carla were good friends with my mom before she passed away, thats also the main reason why they decided to take me in as their child.

Micheal and Carla live in Buckingham Palace with the rest of the royal family. They are helpers there but also very good friends with the family. Im nervous about my new home, i mean how do i need to act? Do i need to cursty every time i see them? Or do i need to act like their normal people?

Carla told me that the entire family knew i was coming but that doesn't make me feel any better. God i already miss my old home. My friends, my school, my neighbours, my mum. My mum was my bestfriend, i grew up without my dad or with any family. I only had my mum and 3 weeks ago she suddenly left me. Ever since then i can barely sleep, everytime i close my eyes i see my mums last smile as i walk out of the house to go to school.

"Were here y/n!" Carla says with a big smile as Micheal get out of the car. I opened the door and stare at the big palace, processing that im looking at my new house. I walk to the back of the car to get my bags with all of my stuff in it. "Don't worry darling ill take it" Micheal says as he gets my bags out of the car

"Are you ready?" Carla says as she stand next to me "i dont know carla, how am i supposed to act? Do i need to cursty? Do i need to call them by their title's?" I say with a nervous tone while i carla looks at my with a silly face "just be yourself sweetie, just be polite. If you do that everything will be fine." Carla says and grabs my hand while we walk to the front door.

I put my phone away before the door opens and make sure my hair looks good before walking in. I see Prince William and his wife Princess Catherine standing at the end of the room waiting for us. We walk towards them as they do the same

"Hello Mike and Carla, i hope you too are doing good" prince william says as he shakes their hand. "And you must be y/n! They told me alot about you, so good to finally meet you!" William says and shakes my hand. "Hello your majesty" i say with a smile while i shake his hands. "Oh please you can call me william. Much easier then all those title's. This is my wife Catherine!" He says. I shake her hand with a smile. "Hello darling! I hope your doing okay! Please call me kate!" Kate says with a big smile. "Hello Kate im y/n!" I say back

"Well we will leave you three alone while we put the bags in your room and start doing oud tasks'l micheal says with Carla by his side. "Thank you! Please come to me when your done!" William says as they both walk away

"Well how about we go to the living room so we can get to know you more!" Kate says with a smile "wonderfull idea! Follow us y/n" william says and i follow them. I look around i can't believe how big this palace is. Obviously since the entire royal family lives here but still

"Please take a seat!" William says and pulls out a chair for me to sit on. "Well we heard alot of great things about you! But please tell something about yourself!" Kate says "well im 15 years old, i was born in Canada and when i was 7 i moved to england! I lived with my mum my whole live since my dad wasn't around and i didn't knew any other family members" i say while William and kate are looking at me "We heard what happend to your mother and we are so sorry but know that we are here for you and we will treat you like our own daughter!" William says while he holds my hand

"Thank y-" i say before i got distracted by a door that opened. I see a tall, brown haired boy walking towards us. "Oh sorry i didn't knew you guys were in here" he says as he makes eye contact with me and tried to walk away before Kate stopped him "Wait James! This is y/n the girl that we were telling you about!" She says and point at me "oh hello! Im james, nice to meet you!" He says and walks over to me and shakes my hand

"Hi im y/n! Nice to meet you to!" I say with a smile "well i figured since you two are the same age you maybe wanna give her a tour and introduce her to everyone?" William says as he stand up and walks over to the door with Kate "Yeah sure, sounds okay with me" James says "Great! Well we need to go and check on the kids but we will catch up with you later bye!" Kate says and they both walk away, leaving  me and james alone. "so what do you want to see first?" James asks
