Chap 10

I laid down and woke up in the middle of the night to a loud noise getting up I shivered and realized that the fire went out. Walking up stairs I jumped again hearing the loud thunder. Walking up the stairs more I saw klaus door slightly open walking inside I saw him asleep. I walked more towards the empty side of the bed.
"Klaus, nik," I said trying to wake him up but not hurt him. Climbing on the bed I tried shaking him. His eyes snapped open and growled.
"What," he said.
"Sorry it's just I was storming and the fire went out and never mind. I shouldn't have bothered you I'm sorry," I told him moving to get off the bed.
"Come here little one," he said.
A tree got stuck for lightening and it scared me and I grabbed onto his arm. He pulled me closer to his chest and put the blanket over us. Laying down on a pillow I went to sleep.
Waking up a couple hours later I looked at the time it was 8:09 and looking at klaus he was still asleep walking downstairs I went to my duffle bag and pulled out my outfit for the day. Grabbing my pink Disney tank top I put that on and a pair of holister blue jean shorts grabbing my red zip up jacket I put it on. Walking to the kitchen I saw the clock on the stove say 10:00. Fixing me a cup of warm milk I walked back into the living room and sat on the couch. Checking my phone I noticed I had a text from tony.

Looking around I pulled up my phone out and called him.
"Hello," I said sticking my phone to my ear.
"Hey guess what," he asked me.
I put my phone on speaker clicking through my phone I hacked into there internet. Turning on face time I looked at him
"What," I said playing along.
"I bought the ring I'm going ask her," he told me.
I sat up and wrapped the blanket more around me and took a sip of my milk and grinned.
"That's great," I told him.
"Yeah I just haven't asked her yet," he told me.
"Well do it," I told him.
"What if she says no," he asks me.
I heard the vampires walking down the stairs.
"Who are you," I asked him.
"Tony Stark," he said.
"Yell it," I said.
"No I wouldn't," he said. The others crowded around to where they could see him but he couldn't.
"I can't here you now who are you," I told him.
"Tony stark," he yelled.
"Gosh no need to scream, no what are you going to do," I told him.
"I'm going to ask pepper to marry me, and be mrs. Stark," he said.
"Hell yeah you are," I told him.
"Thanks Lexie," he told me.
"Your welcome, now the next time I get this call you better be called to tell me that she said yes, okay get off your ass and go ask her, love u buddy," I told him
"I love you too Alex, you know your mom was always my favorite alien," he said.
" thanks she thought of you as her favorite crazy billionaire human," I told him.
I hung up.
