In the morning of Gracemeria, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping and everything is at peace, meanwhile in an airbase in Gracemeria, there are the two elite squadrons stationed there, Garuda and Strigon squadron both led by Talisman AKA Garuda 1 and Igor Pasternak AKA Strigon 1. Garuda 1's team is composed of Jean as Garuda 2 because Shamrock was killed in the last mission of Ace Combat 6 after he sacrificed himself to check what's beneath the Chandelier railgun system, Lisa as Garuda 3, Kaeya as Garuda 4, Diluc as Garuda 5, Klee as Garuda 6, Alhaitham as Garuda 7, Cyno as Garuda 8, Kaveh as Garuda 9, and Noelle as Garuda 10 while Igor's Strigon squadron is composed of himself as Strigon 1, Razor as Strigon 2, Mika as Strigon 3, Toscha Mijasik as Strigon 4, Eula as Strigon 5 even though she's Belkan, Kujou Sara as Strigon 6 and Wanderer as Strigon 7. Later in the morning, as they were chilling, they heard loud explosions in the city and when they realized that there were unknown aircraft in the sky, so they rushed into their planes and took off to the skies.
AWACS Ghost Eye: This is AWACS, there are unknown planes attacking Gracemeria, stop em now!
Garuda 1: You got it. Everyone, allied attack
Jean(Garuda 2): You got it
Alhaitham(Garuda 7): Ready as expected
Lisa(Garuda 3): Whatever you say
Igor Pasternak(Strigon 1): Strigon Team, show them who you are made of!
Eula(Strigon 5): Vengance will be mine
Wanderer(Strigon 7): For Estovakia!
Kujou Sara(Strigon 6): Glory to the Federation!
Both Garuda squadron and Strigon squadron unleashed their true potential and picked off the enemy aircraft, one by one, it was easy for them until they got word from AWACS Ghost Eye.
AWACS Ghost Eye: Aircraft are identified as Yuktobanian, they must be from the Kingdom of Yuktobania. You still have to hold em back while the Anean ground forces are preparing to evacuate. Garuda team, attack the Yuktobanian aircraft and Strigon team, escort the evacuating troops and civilians from Yuktobanian aircraft

The skies of Gracemeria are full of aircraft dogfighting each other and down below, the people are panicking and most of them are being evacuated by Emmerian and Estovakian forces.
The dogfight was so intense that some Emmerian and Estovakian aircraft retreated while Garuda and Strigon Team were holding their retreat. However, the Yuktobanians have a dirty plan in their mind. As the dogfight was going on, the Yuktobanians revealed their superweapon, the XB-1, a hybrid of the Estovakian Aigaion heavy command cruiser and the Belkan XB-0 bomber. The XB-1 is then escorted by the Fatui Squadron also known as the 9th air division 28th tactical fighter squadron. The XB-1 launched a barrage of missiles at Gracemeria and targeted Emmerian and Estovakian aircraft. In a matter of desperation, AWACS Ghost Eye ordered Garuda and Strigon Team to fall back
AWACS Ghost Eye: All Garuda and Strigon Team, fall back. We're leaving Gracemeria behind and your new base will be located in Khesed island, but for now, your temporary base is in the outskirts of Gracemeria.
Garuda 1: Roger that. Garuda Team, fall back
Igor Pasternak(Strigon 1): Strigon Team, Fall back.
As they fall back, they see Gracemeria almost destroyed and the XB-1 including Harbinger squadron are flying over Gracemeria, Yuktobanian forces later captured the city and most of the Emmerians and Estovakians living in Gracemeria hoped that they'll be liberated once again. Only time will tell if they will be free.
As they landed in an airbase in the outskirts of Gracemeria, they were received with an emergency briefing.
Briefer: Alright Garuda and Strigon Team, the Yuktobanians have taken us by surprise and they're planning to push us back. Our radars had picked large waves of Yuktobanian aircraft heading towards our airbase, and intercept them to slow their attack.
After the briefing was held, Garuda and Strigon Team got into their jets and flew off to slow the Yuktobanian jets from advancing. Garuda Team has mostly focused on the F-15 eagle and Strigon Team has SU-37, SU-30M and SU-33 jets. When they reached the skies AWACS Ghost Eye told them about something.
AWACS Ghost Eye: Warning, Yuktobanian fighters have ECMs, go take em down and continue on what you're doing.
Everyone: Got it
Garuda Team and Strigon Team faced the Yuktobanian aircraft head-on face-to-face, the Yuktobanian pilots were a bit cocky during the dogfight thinking that they'll win, but unfortunately for them, Garuda and Strigon Team had experience and they were quickly shot down. As everything was going as planned, the Yuktobanian XB-1 showed up and fired its missiles again and unfortunately, it damaged their base and the XB-1 retreated back to Gracemeria for resupply. AWACS Ghost Eye said in a worried tone.
AWACS Ghost Eye: All pilots of Garuda and Strigon Team, fall back to the town of Vitoze, there's a temporary airfield there which can accommodate your jets.
Lisa(Garuda 3): No, not my library, my books, I've worked hard to earn them
Talisman(Garuda 1): I know it's painful for you but, it's how war works. Let's fall back.
Igor Pasternak(Strigon 1): Those Yuktobanian devils! I'll show General Tsaritsa of Yuktobania who we Aneans are!
Eula(Strigon 5): I feel your suffering, my cousin Lessig fought in the 1995 Belkan war and was shot down by Osean jets. Looks like we seek vengance for the past after all.
With no choice, Garuda and Strigon Team head to Vitoze which they'll be temporarily stationed there until further notice.

Garuda Team and Strigon Team had reached Vitoze after two days of flight with air refueling. As both of the squadrons landed, they realized that Vitoze is heavily defended despite the fact that Vitoze is a town. When they also landed, they took rest for a few days until on September 6, the alarm was raised. The Yuktobanians have launched an offensive to take Vitoze
Everyone got into their jets and flew off.
AWACS Ghost Eye: This is AWACS Ghost Eye, eliminate the incoming Yuktobanian forces. Go show them who you're made of
Everyone: Got it
With Garuda and Strigon Team on the sky, they pick off Yuktobanian forces from the air and land one by one. As usual, they fired off their missiles and relentlessly fought back. Just at the cusp of victory, the Yuktobanian XB-1 heavy command cruiser appeared out of nowhere and fired off its burst missiles again. Garuda and Strigon Team attempted to shoot it down but it was no use. They have to fall back again and again, retreating from place to place, the Yuktobanians are an unstoppable force during this period, and the remaining Anean forces, mostly Emmerian and Estovakian forces retreated to Khesed island, Nordennavic and some parts in Estovakia. With Garuda and Strigon Team fully retreated to Khesed island, they could only hope to liberate Gracemeria for the second time.
