3rd POV:

In Unknown Location.

A figure in an unknown part of the underground facility, a shadowed figure was watching (Y/N), Billy, and Rebecca on the elevator through a security camera which was crawling with leeches.

James: "I have to admit, I never expected you two to make this far in my labyrinth," the male voice commended. He brought his arm towards the monitor and one of the leeches slithered up his arm.

James: "But unfortunately this little game of Cat and Mouse will come to an end and soon I will have my revenge." Said person leaned towards the bright scree, revealing the figure of a man who appeared to be in his mid-20's with straight shoulder length hair.

James Marcus.

This person was none other than James Marcus, a brilliant scientist who along with Edward Ashford, and Oswell E. Spencer were the founding members of the Umbrella Corporation, and creator of the original strain of the T-Virus.

Dr. James Marcus (ジェーマス・マーカス Jēmasu Mākasu?) was a virologist who led viral weapons research in the 20th century, serving as one of the co-founders of Umbrella Pharmaceuticals and holding the Director position at the company's executive training school. He played a significant role in the development of the t-Virus; however, his obsession with his research led him to neglect his other responsibilities, including engaging in illegal experimentation on children. Consequently, he was relieved of all his duties within the company and viewed as a threat, ultimately resulting in his murder in 1988. Marcus and his test subjects were subsequently disposed of in an underground river channel.

Very little is known about Marcus' early life, except that he graduated from a university in 1939 and became close friends with British noblemen Dr. Oswell E. Spencer, Earl Spencer, and Dr. Edward Ashford, 5th Earl Ashford. As adults, they formed part of a eugenics circle that included Lord Beardsley and Lord Henry, who believed in using scientific methods to create Nietzsche's Übermensch.

During the 1960s, Marcus worked in the laboratory of a Swiss university, focusing on the study of paleovirology. In 1966, Marcus became intrigued by Henry Travis' Natural History Conspectus, a late nineteenth-century work that Spencer also found interesting. The book contained an entry on the Ndipaya people of West Africa, which described a ritual involving the consumption of a flower. It was believed that surviving the ritual granted the consumer superhuman abilities. Marcus theorized that a mutagenic virus might be involved if the account was accurate. In the latter part of the year, Marcus left the university and embarked on a quest to find the flower, accompanied by his protege Brandon Bailey.

James: "As I unexpected to see you again, Mr. Mercer." He said with an evilly smirk on his face and he saw the whole things of (Y/N) fight and also killing some zombies who were stood on their ways and also monsters too...and consume them...he heard much about (Y/N) because he seen (Y/N)'s work was fantastic...releasing some virus in the Penn Station of New York city and all everyone turn into zombies...he heard much about how powerful of virus that (Y/N) just turn into...Blacklight Virus.
