I felt my body jerk up as I gasped for air. Again. I was back in these four black walls. But something was different. Someone was beside me in the bed. I turned to look at the figure and instantly remembered who it was.

The gorgeous man who saved me from the forest. I don't know if it is 'saving' when he brought me back but I can't bite the hand that feeds me.

I moved my hand towards his back and then pulled it away. "Why did you stop?" his voice came off so deep I that flinched. Never have I been near a man not even to mention the feeling in my gut right now.

"I– I... who are you?" I stuttered with my eyes wide open. "Don't stop. Do whatever you want to do." he rolled over and his dark eyes looked into mine with submission showing. So I did anything a person who was unsure of what they were feeling would do. I pushed him off the bed and he landed on the floor with a thud.

He groaned and stood up, holding his side. His pale skin was stained with black liquid. "Are you hurt?" I questioned with my hands clasped around my mouth. "Not as seriously as the emotional hurt you have left me with." his lips dropped and he didn't seem happy.

"Well, sir, you were in the bed with me." "it's my bed. I get to enter and sleep in it anytime, Evelynn," he replied deadpan. "How do you know me? Who are you?" this is the part where I get out of bed and stand in front of him with my neck craned to look at him.

"You call for me. You take my orb. And you said my name the whole way back to the palace, Now you are asking who I am? Let me introduce myself, My queen, my name is Axdur, king of the underworld. And the ghoul or whatever you mortals call us that you met. I gave you the queen orb. I could easily take it from you, but I don't want to. So whether you like it or not, you have to stay. Because it will bring you back to me."

I was dumbfounded by each word he said. He is Axdur. And under this beauty is someone twisted. Someone who is obsessed and is claiming that I called for him.

"So you are the angel of death?" I mumbled and he responded with a hum. Like that, I stumbled back into the bed as realization hit me. "Are you alright? Do you need anything?" his voice was laced with worry. "I need you to leave. Now," I whispered looking down as my feelings washed me. My finger trembled in fear of what my life had become.

I heard the door shut and my hand sunk into my hair in frustration. There is no running. This is it. a tear slid down my face. Pain.

All I felt was pain. I had lost my life to some psycho demon. Mortals like me know nothing of the underworld. All I know is heaven but here I am in hell.

I was locked out of my room and my brother was laughing his ass off. "A mortal kicked you out. And you left." 

"that mortal is your queen. Put some respect when you speak about her and your older brother." Kusva bit back and Qidros shut his mouth. 

"Do me a favor Kusva, make her comfortable with her job. And promote Elsyia to Direct Lady-in-waiting to the queen. Maybe a friend can help her." I said and she nodded but her face was stern. As if there was something she wanted to say. "Speak your mind."

"You should be the one that should make her comfortable. I can bring her out of her shell but you brought her here after all. It should be your duty." she shrugged and walked out.

Qidros smirked at me and stepped forward. "It is like your mission to bring the wrath of our father upon us. Queen or not she is still a mortal and she is too weak for the burden that you want to give her. I don't know what you see and want from her but no human can give it to you."

But there is where he is wrong. She isn't just a human. She would die instantly if she were. He knows what he doing. He knows why he likes her.  I trust my demon.
