After the war...

Although everything had ended, not everyone was very happy, after all, that same war brought misfortunes for many, taking the lives of loved ones, leaving children without parents, thanks to the fact that the kings reacted earlier, many were saved by hiding in The GusuLan clan, but despite all that did not change the fact that the capital had been left in a huge catastrophe that would take a long time to rebuild, the leaders of different clans offered to help the human kingdom repair the damage caused by the shadow kingdom, even the elves, the beings that were hiding, offered to help both in healing some civilians and helping with the reconstruction of the kingdom and the town. The dragon king and the emperor were relieved that everything was over and there were not many injured, the leaders only had some not so serious injuries and the five dragons were fine, but exhausted from the excessive use of their power. But there was someone who had been more affected in that whole battle....

"Wangji, how is he?"

"Recovered from his injuries but.....his memories still does not return, the doctor said it is only a matter of time"

"I see...don't worry, Wangji, recovering his memory, I don't think he would forget you so easily, don't you think so?"

"Brother, I'm afraid," he whispered.

"I know but Master Wei is a strong person and I'm sure he will recover just give him a little more time....but now that I think about it, what did Wei Wuxian do to lose his memories?" Lan xichen wondered.

"...." everything was a mystery to many since Dilong disappeared forever, Wei Wuxian returned unconsciously, Lan Wangji who was tense and worried all the time could only see how a light brought back Wei Wuxian who was barely touched the ground and then he fell silent as if he were a log, he seemed like just an empty body without a soul. After a few weeks when everything stabilized Wei Wuxian still did not wake up, the best doctor in the capital treated him but he said that Wei Wuxian was in a coma due to lack of energy and that with sleep he was recovering them, it was like a winter in question of time he would wake up, and about a month he finally opened his eyes, but when he woke up he did not bring his memories with himself "Who are you?" Lan Wangji did not understand, he did not know what had happened, he regretted not being able to help him, but that day his uncle told him "Wangji, sometimes it is not enough that we are strong or that we have good weapons, many times the dragon immobile in the deep waters becomes prey for crabs" Wangji reflected on those words for quite some time and his uncle was right, even if you are very big, if you don't move you can end up being easy prey.

And then after two years Wei Ying only had fragments of incomprehensible memories in his dreams. Wei Wuxian had adapted very well in the kingdom, everything seemed as if it had never happened, he still did not remember what had happened to him and then spring arrived as well as the festival where many people would attend...

"Run young Wei, we're getting late"

"HAHA you're right, but hey you run really fast"

"Do you think maybe it's because I grew up a little" even though Wei Wuxian did not remember anything, the Dragon King allowed him to live in the human kingdom with an easy and quiet life, of course at first many disagreed, like Lan Wangji who wanted to take him to GusuLan, which his uncle did not like at all, but the king had made a decision, even though two years had passed everything was very quiet, Wei Wuxian lived like a simple mortal along with two brothers and a little boy

"A-yuan, now that you mention it, you're right, last time you were shorter," Wei Ying exclaimed while touching his head, who just smiled.

"Oh young Wei, remember, we are running late, Aunt Wen is waiting and if we are late she will scold us and leave us without food like the last one and it was all her fault if only she had not fought with that man over that woman.

"Aya A-yuna, I had asked for your forgiveness, and sometimes in life you have to protect a woman from a harassing man," he said as they advanced at quick steps.

"Yes, as you say, and now that I remember, young Hán Guāng-Jūn came the other time but you escaped again. Why did you do it?" the little boy asked, raising one of his small eyebrows.

"Hey, brat, why are you being nosy?" Wei Wuxian said as he squeezed his cheeks and he kicked.

"Ouch! I'm just saying what I see, I just feel sorry for that young man, they seem to like you" he exclaimed with a smile.

"Tcg I like him haha but maybe you're right, I just avoid him because he confuses me"

"It confuses you, how?"

"Because you have so many questions, you're a child," he shouted, trying to catch him, but he ran away while sticking out his tongue until he reached a cabin that was very close to the town. That cabin was his home since he woke up that time when that little family told him. He had given a roof over his head to sleep and eat. "Haha, because I keep avoiding him..." Wei Ying whispered before entering that cabin.

While on top of a large tree a few meters from the cabin were two people calmly observing from above.

"How long will you continue with this game? Don't you think that's enough?"

"You think so, that brat was the one who wanted to make that deal, I only comply with the conditions that I gave him. If I didn't, it wouldn't be a deal, don't you think so?"

"You and your dealings, but first of all because his memories are something strange about you."

"Weird in what way?" asked.

"You always ask for their souls in exchange for something but this time they were just a memory, did you have some purpose or have you gotten bored with your pathetic life and it's just for fun" he exclaimed with crossed arms.

"Woo you hurt me... but I don't have a purpose, it's just that I found that boy somewhat interesting. In the first place, my intentions were to take his soul, it would be like killing two birds with one stone, but after listening to him I couldn't help but smile , so I thought why not have a little fun"

"So if it's for fun that's absurd"

"HAHA, you're a funny and nosy old man. Who gave you permission to help him remember through his dreams? The thing is that he remembers on his own," he said, looking at him intently and he smiled sideways.

"Oh, have you realized what a good thing I expected," commented the old man.

"That's why I don't like being friends with the gods," he exclaimed.

"Who said we were friends?"

"Ha, you're right... now all you have to do is observe, I want to see how he manages to remember his miserable past and his promise of love" he exclaimed as he extended his arms towards the sky and turned around.

"You are the worst god of death that I have ever known in my entire life," said the old man as he turned around and left. He laughed, placing his arms behind him as if it did not affect him in any way.

"Thank you for the compliment, see you soon, old man," he shouted until his face became serious, another bird passing his hands over his face. "HEHEH, this will be fun."
