Third test, the mountain.
The next day everyone was having breakfast in the royal patio since it was a beautiful sunny day with a warm temperature ideal for a good breakfast.
"Wangji, how are you feeling?" asked his brother who was sitting next to him but when he saw his little brother's face he knew something was happening.
"I'm fine!" Lan Wangji said as he took a sip of his cup of tea.
"I don't think you're feeling very well," exclaimed Jiang Cheng, getting into their conversation since they were face to face.
"Oh don't look at me like that I'm sorry for butting in but I'm also worried" said jiang cheng.
"You're worried, young jiang, that's very annoying," Nie said, getting into the conversation.
"You...."but suddenly jiang cheng was interrupted.
"Young Jiang, it's nice to see you again," said Lan Xichen.
"Oh yes, it's my pleasure," Jiang Cheng said.
"Brother Wangji is okay," Nie Huaisang asked.
"I'm fine," said Lan Wangji, standing up to leave the place, leaving the other three confused.
"He got upset" Nie Huaisang exclaimed.
"No, of course not, it's not just that he likes to be alone, he grew up like that," commented Lan Xichen.

Meanwhile, somewhere else in the distance in some very dark mountains where the sun cannot touch where creatures hide outside the laws but with a king.

That man left the palace and went to his four men who would help him with this plan, walking through the patio until he reached the four men who were waiting for him.

"That's right, we'll leave in a while," said that man, but his gaze went to one of the men who was shorter than everyone and that caught his attention.
"You who is there, who the hell are you?" He asked with a serious tone, too serious making the opponent scared.
"I..I" the boy was trembling until his opponent's patience was running out so he approached but was suddenly interrupted by another man who came running "The horses are ready, the king said to leave right now" .
"Tcg okay, let's go!" He exclaimed, giving one last look at that young man who only looked away since after all they were wearing masks so you couldn't tell who it was. With a big sigh of relief he followed the other men.
The four men got on the horses and set off but before that he told them "The king asked me that we will only attack the five young men, don't let anyone else see you , and you already know the plan."
"Yes sir!" The four men said firmly but there was one of them who didn't quite know the plan but he had other intentions.
Meanwhile, returning to the human kingdom, everyone was standing in front of that huge forest where the five young people would enter for their last test.
"Very well, now I will tell you what the third test will be about," commented the emperor.
"The test is to catch the dragon king..." said the emperor, surprising the four young men since one of them kept his face serious and expressionless.
"It means catching the legendary dragon king...impossible!" Nie commented.
"Your majesty we will never be able to..." said jiang cheng but was interrupted by the dragon king who said "I know you will be able to after all you worked very hard since you were little"

"The thing is that as we had said that you would be given weapons, well, you will have to look for your own weapon with a spirit, what I mean is that you will have to go to the black caves where you will find your own weapon that will live with you all your life. so you must choose carefully" said the emperor while the five young people nodded their heads.
Black cave : Spiritual place where there are many weapons with powerful spirits but these are nailed throughout the cave, to know which is your indicated weapon, it will move or shine.
FACT : All five dragons who take the tests must find their weapon, it is a tradition that was passed from generation to generation and that law did not change, another fact is that if the bearer of a weapon dies it is directly sealed and returns to the cave but it can no longer be taken out by anyone.
"Very well! That's all, now Lan Wangji, it's time for you to go," exclaimed Emperor, Wangji nodded his head and looked at his brother who gave him a powerful smile. Lan Xichen doesn't know if it was his imagination, but he saw a small smile on his little brother's face.
Lan Wangji headed towards the forest where he looked back once more and saw that everyone was looking at him and so he took a step forward passing a large barrier that divided that forest with the other part since this forest is very sacred and you can find many things as valuable as they are strange, who knows, lan wangji may find something interesting there.
And that's how Lan Wangji entered that forest hoping to hear again that beautiful voice that he knew how to hear, meanwhile on the other side of the barrier.
"It's time, the dragon king, you must go in too," said the emperor.
"Yes you are right!" said the dragon king and then disappeared in a matter of a second, leaving a smiling emperor and four young people surprised.
