Today was the day that Y/n would finally go to Hogwarts. Well it was only 02:04 am but technically it was the day she would be going to Hogwarts.

Y/n lay awake in her room, the moonlight creeping in through the gaps underneath her curtains, just enough light to see the outline of her trunk sitting, waiting for Y/n to bring it with her on her journey to Hogwarts.

'Y/N ITS TIME TO'-

Y/n bolted straight up and jumped out of bed.

She sat at her dressing table and stared at her self in the mirror.

'MUM CAN YOU COME UPSTAIRS FOR MINUTE' Y/n shouted down the stairs.

Y/n heard her Mum's footsteps coming up the stairs and towards her bedroom.

'Yes sweetheart?' said Andromeda beaming at Y/n.

'Could you curl my hair with that spell you done for me on Nymphadora birthday please?'

'Of course' said Y/n's Mum with a smile as she took her wand from her pocket and said 'Crinus Muto'.

Y/n smiled, satisfied with the results. Her now curly (h/c) hair was looking a lot better than it did before.

She turned to look at her Mum and saw a tear roll down her face.

'What's wrong?' Said Y/n, confused..

'Oh I'm just sad that my last baby is going to Hogwarts already and I won't be able to see her off" replied Andromeda through a smile.

'What, you're not coming to Kings Cross Station with me?'

'No sweetheart, I'm sorry I have buisness to take care of and your father is working but your sister is going to bring you'.

"Oh that's okay, Thanks for doing my hair".

"No problem Y/n".

Andromeda softly closed Y/n's bedroom door and went back downstairs.

Y/n wasn't upset she was just expecting her Mum to be with her but Nymphadora is just as good as her Mum anyway. Although Y/n would never tell her sister, she really did admire her. She couldn't help it she was successful, brave, and not to forget she is also beautiful.

Y/n dragged her heavy trunk downstairs and left it at the front door. She went into the kitchen to find her Mum just getting ready to leave. Nymphadora was sitting at the table reading while eating some porridge.

"Bye Mum" chorused me and Nymphadora at the exact same time.

Y/n looked at her sister and smiled.

"Bye dears, Good luck Y/n, be careful, stay out of trouble and try not to miss us too much" Said Andromeda with a wink as she kissed Y/n's forehead and then opened the door and left.

Y/n and her sister got to Kings Cross Station the muggle way, on the bus. Y/n's father, Ted is a muggle born so he knows all about muggle transportation. He left Nymphadora a piece of paper with instructions. At the bottom of the paper there was also a guide Ted included showing how to use the muggle money he left Nymphadora for the bus fair.

Y/n and her sister got a few stares when Nymphadora took out the piece of paper to calculate what she needed to give to the bus driver in front of all the muggles.

They finally arrived outside Kings Cross station at 10:31 am.
