"It's only 9 in the morning, and you look like you've got ten essays in your hands," Jonah teased as he and Caius took seats in front of Evanora. She looked down at the essays in her hands, realizing she was in the great hall.

Caius, noticing Evanora's preoccupied expression, raised an eyebrow, "What's going on in that little mind of yours?" he teased, to which Jonah interjected, defending her mental prowess.

"Little? Our Eva here can fit thousands of thoughts in her mind. How can that be little?"

Evanora, rolling her eyes, admitted, "I was just thinking."

Jonah, always curious, "About what?"

Glancing at Caius, Evanora sighed, "Just thinking about what happened between Dolohov and my brother."

Caius had a moment of realization. Meanwhile, Jonah couldn't help but glance at Theodore Nott across the room, and luckily, Slytherin's table was right in front of him.

Theodore was with his friends, but unlike the rest, he seemed lost in thought, staring at the table. Evanora and Theodore seemed to share more than just looks; their behaviours mirrored each other.

What caught Jonah's attention was that Theodore looked worn out, with heavy eyes and dark circles underneath. Even Theodore's close friend and roommate, Mattheo Riddle, had a sleepless night toojudging from the same expression as Theodore.

Jonah had heard about an incident involving Theodore and Joras Doholov directly from Caius. Apparently, Theodore had given Joras a powerful punch, breaking his nose. Evanora had to step in, restraining Joras with a nonverbal spell.

"What do you have in mind?" mumbled Caius, earning a reaction from Evanora. After a brief pause, Evanora asked, "What did they do to Theodore when Voldemort was in control?" Her voice was low and raspy, indicating a desire for the truth.

Jonah sighed, "I don't think it's our place to say." Evanora frowned, questioning, "Does everyone know about this?" Caius's fallen expression was a clear answer for Evanora.

"Is that why students give them those... unpleasant looks?" Evanora searched for the right words. Caius nodded slightly, whispering, "That, and they are known to have the dark mark."

"But it's not fair," Jonah said, crossing his arms. "It's not just them; there are others too."

Evanora looked at Caius, surprised. "You mean, right here? At Hogwarts?"

Caius chuckled softly. "You've already met one... Dolohov."

Jonah's attention shifted elsewhere. "Another good example." He nodded to his left. Only Caius could see what Jonah meant. Evanora kept her gaze forward, trying not to give away her curiosity.
