The bubble guppies sat in their classroom, Deema passing sandwiches to all of her beloved friends. They all began to eat, amazed at the delicious taste of the mysterious food.

"Wow Deema," exclaimed Molly, "these are amazing! What did you put in these?" she stuffed another bite into her mouth.

"Yes, these are rather scrumptious, if I do say so myself," Nonny chimed in, holding his finger in the air. ☝️🤓

Deema gave a devious smile and laughed, but nobody noticed the sinister way she took a bite of her own sandwich.

"Hmm," said Gil, inspecting his sandwich. "I don't care what it's made of, all that matters is that it tastes good!" His eyes gleamed as he shoved the sandwich into his mouth, but suddenly he jumped and squinted his eyes in pain. He pulled something long and white from his mouth. "Oh, this looks like a fishbone," he said, unphased. He continued chewing, but his eyes slowly widened and his jaw went slack. He turned to face Deema; his face contorted with horror. "Deema..." he said, his voice hollow.

* Gil's voice now sounds like any anime character voiced by Bryce Papenbrook that is in shock or traumatized--think Chat Noir, Kirito, or Eren Jaeger. *

"What is this sandwich made of?"

"I think you know the answer."

The rest of the guppies began to scream, cry, and throw up.

"Oh, stop overreacting! It's just a bit of tuna."

"You slimy viperfish!" Goby yelled at her. "I can't believe you fed us fish!"

"Oh, please, it's not like we're cannibals. We're guppies, not tuna. This tuna owed my father money, and he didn't pay his debts. You all know what happens when you don't pay up to the underwater mafia. This really worked out too, because you know how I want to be a culinary expert, and you also know that I love to bring you all food; I just love you all so much. So, it was a win-win situation really, I don't know why you're all so-"

"Deema, shut up!" Molly screamed, tears streaming out of her eyes. (Or they would be, if they weren't underwater.) "You spoiled, demented brat! How can you be so disconnected from reality? Fish are friends, not food!"

"Yeah, we should call the police!" Oona said, pulling out her clamshell flip-phone. As she began dialing the numbers, they all felt a jolt, and heard crashing above them. Oona's phone showed a screen that said error, disconnected, and the guppies stirred uneasily, wondering what just happened.

"What was that?" Molly asked nervously, swimming close to Gil for protection.

"I don't know, maybe there's a hurricane above water?"

"That didn't feel like a hurricane," said Nonny, pushing up his glasses, his hand shaking.

Everyone pushed the tuna sandwich situation to the back of their minds for the time being, for they realized they were still alone in their classroom.

"Wait, where's Mr. Grouper?" asked Goby, turning to Deema with suspicion. "Or did you cook him too?" he sneered.

A look of utter disgust crossed Deema's face. "I'm offended. I would never hurt Mr. Grouper! I don't know any more than you do." She crossed her arms as Goby glared at her.
