Catnaps return..

Chapter 1 - Catnaps hospital visit

A nice and warm day in the village the smiling critters lived at. Everyone was there except for Catnap. Years ago the smiling critters were escaping (my AU), but of course, Catnap didnt come with them because.. well.. i think you know. Dogday was sitting at his desk watching netflix when crafty and hoppy come running in.
(The first letter of each of their names will say whos who.)
C: "Dogday dogday! Hoppy and me were playing on the trampoline and hoppy said she saw some of the red smoke.."
Dogday freezes and gets up from his desk. "You two stay here." He says, walking out and into playground to find him.
He was walking around trying to look for the red smoke when suddenly he saw it. A whole area just filled with red smoke, and Catnap was standing in the middle of it, examining the house.
'hm.. i like what they did with the place!' Catnap thinks, his tail swaying happily with no intentions of anything. (Btw Catnap is in his plush-like form, just like all the others)

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING BACK HERE?!" Dogday yells, furious. Catnap turns around and sees Dogday, but doesnt speak. Instead, he looks down and his pupils dilate, before he quickly runs away.

'He.. ran away? But why?..' Dogday thinks to himself.
(Time skip)
A little bit later, Dogday is trying his best to calm down Hoppy. 
(ANOTHER time skip bc im really lazy.)
Bobby decided to calm down so she heads to the shed outside, just to find Catnap sitting there, napping. She gets scared and backs herself into a corner, as Catnap wakes up.
C: ..Bobby?..
B: P-please.. dont hurt me..
C: I.. i wont.. i promise..
Bobby walks closer to him. "you.. promise?" She asks. "yes, i promise!" Bobby gets happy at hearing this and hugs him, as they nap together (NOT A SHIP). 
Later, Kickinchicken walks into the shed to see Bobby and Catnap talking together. 
K: BOBBY GET AWAY FROM HIM!
B: Kickin! Catnap wont hurt us!!
K: YES HE WILL! 
Kickinchicken pulls Bobby away and grabs a bat as Catnaps eyes are full of fear.
C: K-kickin i swear, im not gonna hurt you guys!
"YES.. YOU.. WILL!!" Kickinchicken says as he swings the bat and hits Catnaps head, causing him to whine and fall backwards. Kickin hits Catnap a few more times to the head, causing him to pass out, with blood rushing from his head violently. Kickin throws the bat aside and hugs Bobby, who is crying a lot. 
B: KICKIN HE W-WASNT GONNA HURT US!!
K: Shhh its okay bobby.. we just cant trust him, so i had to.
B: BUT KICKIN!- 
K: Shhh calm down.. 
Dogday walks into the shed and sees Catnaps passed out body on the floor and blood rushing from his head, as he looks at kickin and bobby.
D: w-what.. who..
B: IT WAS KICKIN! HE KEPT HITTING CATNAP AND HE BEGGED HIM TO STOP BUT HE DIDNT!!
K: BUT IT WAS FOR YOUR SAFETY!!
B: KICKIN I ALREADY TOLD YOU, HE WONT HURT US!!
D: ENOUGH! Calm.. calm down.. but.. i..
Dogday walks over to Catnaps body and crouches over to get a better look. 'W-why do i.. feel bad for him? I shouldnt, hes a murderer..' Dogday thinks to himself, 'But whatever, i need to help him.. i guess..' 
Dogday, Kickin, and Bobby brought Catnap to the hopsital.
B: Will he be okay doc?!
Doc: Yes, he will be alright. Hes awake. It will take only 2 days for it to heal, any other hits to the head would have caused him to die.
All of them look at kickin, who groans and turns away from them.
Doc: You may go see him, but ill warn you, hes a bit.. frightened.
D: Thanks, doc.
They enter the room Catnap was in, as Catnap notices them and his ears droop and his pupils dilate as he looks away, terrified. The look in his eyes broke Dogdays heart, knowing it was him he was scared of.
D: C-catnap..-
C: D-dont.. hurt me..
Dogday felt heartbroken for the poor cat, knowing he must have had trauma, and kickin knocking him out with a bat didnt help. 
D: Listen Catnap, i get the way i acted earlier wasnt.. the best welcoming.. but, you just.. you havent been here for over a couple years, and after what you did back at playtime co, i didnt think i could trust you...
C: ...
D: And, maybe theres a way you could.. prove your trustworthy..!
Catnaps ears perk up, but go back down after a few moments. Dogday walks up to Catnaps bed and was gonna pat his head but Catnap looks away and slightly raises his hand, as if covering a attack. He realizes it was just Dogday and he wasnt gonna do anything so he puts his hand back down. Dogday is extremely heartbroken and shocked at this point, that he couldnt help himself but to hug Catnap. Catnap was extremely surprised but hugged him back, only slightly. 

(BONUS - Bobbys pov)

I really feel bad for Catnap, he wasnt gonna hurt us and kickin just went up and.. did that. Its disgusting, and honestly.. i dont know if i can be his friend anymore.. Its really sad that when Dogday went and tried patting his head, he literally flinched.. ill give him the best welcoming back party EVER!..... i want a hug too.. 😔
