Once back at the pack house the women and children come back. We all sit around the house eating dinner and watching movies. The sun starts to set. I stand in the kitchen talking to Jenna when Ashton's muscular arms wrap around me from behind.
He whispers in my ear. "Let's go for a run." I nod. We walk outside. I smile over at him and we shift. We run and run through the woods for miles. We reach a cliff peak and shift back. We sat down at the edge of the cliff and watched the sun go down.
I rest my head on his shoulder. "What now?"
He takes a deep breath. "Now we move on. We live our lives. Pups maybe?"
He looks down at me as I turn my head to look at him. "You sure you're ready for that?"
He nods. "A little you running around the house...I couldn't ask for anything more."
I sigh. "I finally feel...at peace."
He smirks. "Well, you haven't had to just live with me without anything happening." I giggle as he chuckles. "I love you Niko."
I kiss him. "I love you, Ashton."

Life isn't always roses and rainbows.
You gotta get through the tough shit.
One thing I learned is don't try and go through it alone.
Link, Moro, Lycan, Kodlacks, Okamiss, Balto, Aleu, and Jenna. My family. My rock.
Link is not just my beta but my blood brother.
Moro is strong and confident but he's also a little softy and a joker.
Lycan's smile could light up a room.
Kodlacks is a natural-born leader and I trust him with my life.
Okamiss is a ray of sunshine in the darkness of everything.
Balto sees everything before we do so when he smiles at you know that something good is coming.
Aleu is my warrior. My protector. I wouldn't be alive if it weren't for him.
Jenna my sweet witchy friend. One of the most powerful people I know.
Then there's Ashton.
Ashton and I have been through the ups and downs of life together.
We are a family.
We love each other.
I didn't know this until...
We all became one.
