As they reached the home Haoxuan helped yibo out of the car he shouldered the weight of Yibo's arm and guided him along, concern etched on his face. Finally reaching Yibo's doorstep, Haoxuan rang the doorbell, and after a few moments, Zhan answered, his eyebrows furrowed in worry. "What happened?" Zhan asked, his gaze shifting from Yibo's dazed form to Haoxuan's concerned expression.
"He' drank a little too much " Haoxuan replied, his voice tinged with a mix of annoyance and sympathy.
"I'll leave him in your capable hands only you can take care of him, don't let him destroy himself, Zhan."Haoxuan said and made his way back leaving Yibo swaying slightly in Zhan's grasp. Zhan guided Yibo to bedroom, settling him on the bed before fetching a glass of water to help him sober up. Zhan felt yibo whispering something he lean to hear, Yibo's voice heavy with remorse. "I'm sorry, Zhan," he murmured, the words slurring slightly. "I've made so many mistakes." Zhan sat beside Yibo, his eyes reflecting a mixture of understanding and concern.Yibo reached out, his hand trembling, and cupped Zhan's face. "I've hurt you," he confessed, his gaze pleading for forgiveness. "But I want to make things right." Zhan gently removed Yibo's hand from his face and held it in his own. "We can talk about this when you're feeling better," he said, his tone gentle yet firm. "Right now, the most important thing is for you to rest." Zhan helped him out of his clothes he was going to take new clothes for him but yibo pulled him zhan fell on top of him there eyes meet they could feel each other's heat, zhan heart race by looking in those eyes.
"Zhan I'm really sorry, I want to change everything that I want to make you all mine" yibo towered over him its seemed like time has stop.
Yibo kissed Zhan's lips then started kissing his neck his hands roaming over Zhan's body.
Zhan's heart swelled sadness only after a moment he pushed him
"Yibo stop this you are drunk".
he sat down his heart racing fast yibo held his arm and looked at him
"Can't you just forgive me, zhan you're the only reason I want to live, don't leave me with my demons" he said sorrow and hurt in his voice, pleading eyes looking towards him
Zhan's heart ached at his words but he knows it was just alcohol talking
"I will be happy if you tell those words when you're sober" he mumbled he stood up and helped yibo to lay down
"We'll talk tomorrow You should rest now, have some sleep" he said, set the sheets and went to balcony for some fresh air looking at the sky recalling the past there relationship was not that bad they were friends before but time change and people also change.
He missed their moments together when everything well alright, when there was no hate or hurt feeling between them.
["What have you done with you I don't want to hurt you but I also can't trust because you want everything to belong to you, I don't want to live in a cage I hope you will surely understand one day".]
He was lost in thoughts it seems like sleep is way far from him he spent all night sitting there the morning light filtered the room he set the curtains and went downstairs.
His heart filled with care and worry but at the same time the past overtook these emotions. He took his apron and started making breakfast for them its first time in a while he was making something for yibo.
Yibo woke with a pounding headache, regretting that he drank so much the night before. He stumbled down the stairs and got surprised as he heard clinking dishes and the sound of someone bustling around in the kitchen. He found Zhan at the counter, deftly preparing something on the stove.
He came silently and slumped into one of the chairs at the small table. He rested his head in his hands, trying to ward off the nausea that threatened to overtake him. A few minutes later, Zhan placed a plate in front of Yibo.
Yibo looked at him trying to avoid awkwardness and greeted him "Good morning"
Zhan looked at him nod his head and sat around the other side of the table
Yibo took a hesitant bite the warm and familiar taste of the eggs brought back memories of better times, when he and Zhan were carefree and genuinely enjoyed each other's company.
As he ate, he glanced at Zhan, who seemed unusually focused on the task at hand, avoiding Yibo's gaze. The tension in the air was palpable, and Yibo couldn't ignore it any longer.
"You know, it feels a lot like the old days right now," Yibo said tentatively. "The way you're making breakfast for me and everything. I miss that ge, you know?"
Zhan's expression softened for a moment, but then he quickly composed himself. "Things change, Yibo. You know that."
"Yes, they can" Yibo persisted. "We used to be able to talk about anything. There was never any tension between us. I want that back."
Zhan remained silent, his eyes fixed on the plate. The weight of his emotions seemed to drain him.
Yibo reached across the table, gentle fingers finding Zhan's hand. "I miss us, Zhan. I miss our friendship. I miss the way things used to be."
Zhan glanced up, his eyes carrying a mixture of pain and longing. He let out a heavy breath. "Maybe we can find our way back, but it's not easy ." Zhan said and left the table in hurry.
