From Bitter to Blissful: An Arranged Tale of Love

Chapter 15

It was a beautiful day sun was shining brightly showering everything with its soothing and warm shine. Everything seems relaxed except Yibo's heart he was standing near window looking at the beautiful scenery out two birds playing and collecting grain. He was continuously looking at them playing and dancing a gentle smile crossed his lips and a thought went through his mind what if we can be together, will we be happy and dance like them ? This thought stole the smile from his lips and a little moment of smile immediately change in usual sadness he shook his head to clear it and went for work its been weeks and now he worked from here, Mr Wang was handling the meetings and everything Yibo helped them from here. He wanted to go back to help his father but the thought of going back and not seeing Zhan hurt him. He was busy with his laptop when his phone rang he picked up right after looking at the screen.
"Hello Yibo how are you now?" the latter asked
"I'm totally fine how are you?"
"How should I be when I see my children sad and destroying their happiness."
"Don't worry mom I'm absolutely fine."he replied
"I miss you son, I want to see you, come back home." her voice was filled with pain and concern that hurt Yibo more
"Mother I miss you too but I'm not sure when I'll come back."
"I understand you Yibo you should talk to each other I can't see you in so much pain."she was crying and Yibo can feel it from here
"Don't cry mom please it hurts more than anything. I know you want us to be together but it's difficult now..."
He wanted to say more but his voice cracked due to the tears he was trying to control his emotions he knew that now it's his fate to be alone but he wanted Zhan to be happy .
"Mom I've an important meeting I've to go, take care of yourself and father for me." He said and hung up the call immediately he didn't want to show her mother how vulnerable he felt.
What should I do I love him and can't change this truth but he doesn't want me in his life this is a timely emotion I don't want these things to be repeated, I don't want to hurt ourselves again.
"Ge I love you and I'll keep loving you, be happy for me don't let this minor emotion take control over your mind because I never wanted to be like this. I want you to accept me with full heart but I know it's impossible."
He wanted to jerk off all these thoughts so he went out.
He started running to exhaust himself to get everything out of his mind and didn't know how many miles he covered.
When he came back he was exhausted and wanted to sleep after a shower but when he entered the house was filled with beautiful aroma of food. He was surprised at first but he knew who that person would be.
"Haoxuan when did you come" he went towards the kitchen but got shocked by looking at Jiyang cooking food.
"Hello Yibo, Haoxuan went to shop some eggs you don't have eggs here" jiyang replied smiling at him.
"Oh, you look exhausted have some water." he gave him the glass of water
"Why did you come here," he asked suspiciously
"Don't worry, Jiyang will never tell anyone, he respects the promise I had with you" haoxuan said from behind Yibo turned and Haoxuan took him in a tight hug
"I'd missed you buddy, don't worry I had my words with you. We're here because we had our vacation and my baby wanted to go somewhere with beautiful scenery so I told Jiyang about this place and he wanted to spend time here. Do you have any problem with this." he asked with concern.
Yibo nodded his head
"Why do I have problem with this you are always welcome here" he tap at Haoxuan's shoulder
"Actually, I want to spend time with you so I came here. I don't want you to be  alone here."
Yibo nodded his head in understanding
"Now go take a shower and do it fast because my darling had made lunch for us, right Darling" he looked towards Jiyang and winked
Jiyang blushed, a beautiful smile crossed his lips and he went to the kitchen
Haoxuan gave Yibo a gentle tap on the shoulder "freshen up and let's have lunch my stomach is growling with hunger". he made a sulking face,Yibo smiled at his explanation and went towards his room.
He was standing under the cold shower after seeing Jiyang he wanted to ask him about Zhan he had a little hope in some corner that maybe Zhan's feelings are true but he understands it now because of the circumstances. He increased the speed of the cold water running down his body he thought perhaps this cold shower would help to cool down the heat inside his heart. After a while he went out of the bathroom to dress up and come out of the dining room where everything was on the table and when he looked around for his friends he saw them in the kitchen Jiyang was standing near the counter doing something while Haoxuan was teasing him hugging from behind. He cleared his throat to signal his presence.
To notice his presence Jiyang felt shy and started doing his work again Haoxuan went towards Yibo  
"When did you come, let's go everything is ready we'd been waiting for you he took Yibo with him and went to the table.
They were sitting on the table eating their lunch There was silence they didn't know what to talk about Yibo was eating halfheartedly.
"Is it not good, if so I'll make you something else." Jiyang broke the ice looking at him
"No, no, it's delicious but I have no appetite" yibo was looking at Jiyang as he wanted to ask him something but don't have courage or have fear to be judged
"Do you want to say something" Jiyang noticed his glances and asked
"No it's nothing he cleared his throat and took a sip of water" Jiyang looked at Haoxuan they knew what he wanted to know
"Zhan is good he is doing lots of work like you do, he also wanted to leave somewhere he will be alone but uncle is ill and he had to take care of him and business so.."Jiyang told him
"What happened to uncle"
"He had kidneys problem a long time ago but now its worsen and he had to went to hospital for regular checkups"
"Is gege alright he loved uncle so much, but why didn't anyone tell me."he asked
"Uncle told us to not telling anyone because he don't want to make anyone worry especially you. He told me that he loved you like he loved Zhan and your family has done so much for Zhan that's why he wanted you to move on let go of your past and all bad memories" Jiyang hesitated to tell him further
"He wanted you to be happy don't blame yourself for anything, he wanted you to start your life again." Yibo loses control and tears start flowing
"I never had imagined my life with anyone else"
"Yibo, I'll tell you one thing that not even Zhan know, Uncle has not much time left he'll not be with us for long time" Haoxuan said and put his hand on Yibo's cold hands
Yibo felt that Haoxuan bring the sky down his head he wanted to turn back time to go their where everything is alright. But what should one do time is the King and one should go with the flow of time
"Zhan needs you Yibo,go back before it's too late. Start your new chapter with a new beginning let bygones be bygones.
Yibo felt devastated, he stood up and left the place leaving Haoxuan and Jiyang clueless, he went to his room and closed the door, he had to made decisions for himself.
