"I'm on my way. I'll be there in ten." Evara said while she pulled the door to enter the café.

The minute she entered, she was greeted by piping hot coffee which ruined her shirt and burned her skin.

She looked up to see a man with hazel eyes staring down at her. With chiselled features, dark hair, and a light beard she could say that he was handsome and she would have admired his face if he hadn't opened his mouth.

"Watch where you're going!" he barked and walked past her leaving her in shock.

"What the—" she cut herself off. "Jerk!"

She turned around and made her way to the car. Now, that her shirt is ruined, she doesn't have time for a refreshing drink.

She couldn't go to her home as it was an hour away so she decided to take help from Sameera as she lives just 5 minutes away from her office.

She started the car and immediately called Sameera who picked up on the second ring.

"Hey!" came Sameera's voice through the speaker.

"Hey, Sam! Please tell me you haven't left home yet."

"I haven't."

"Great! I need a formal shirt. It's urgent!" Evara rushed her car through the streets of Mumbai.

"Okay, Tiger! Come fast."

"Yep."

In a few minutes, she was in Sameera's home, changing her shirt.

"What happened to your shirt?" Sameera asked.

"A jerk spilled his hot coffee on me!" she answered while working on the buttons. "And now, I'm running late!"

Sameera snickered. "What's new in that Eva? You're always running late."

"True! But I have a meeting in exactly ten minutes."

"Then you better hurry up!"

When she was done she came out of the changing room and hugged Sameera briefly. "Thanks, Sammy! You're a lifesaver!"

"I know and I want every detail of this incident."

"I will tell you everything on the weekend. Bye!" she said leaving.

Let's just say, she was horribly late for the meeting and had to endure the manager's scolding for twenty whole minutes.
