The last thing I remember was me fishing in the ocean before a huge wave hit my boat and I drowned.

I remember one of my friend reminding to repair my boat a couple of days back. She also warned me from not going to fish in this boat. But I still went because I love the ocean. I love to smell the salty air and seeing the dark blue water. I always felt calm when I am near the ocean. Ocean is like my childhood friend as whenever I am near it a feeling of nostalgia hits me and my childhood memories comes into my mind making me feel as if it's yesterday only when I was 7 and my father was teaching me how to swim.

I never thought ocean would betray me by making me drown in it and breaking my favorite boat and now I am at this deserted island maybe thousand of miles away from my home!

God I am scared. What if there are wild gorillas or crocodiles in this island or worst tribal people who might think I am their food!

I was lying on the sand by the shore completely drenched in water from head to toe. My hair had sand in them making them stiff. Besides of tribes or crocodiles this Island was beautiful. I could hear the seagulls and the island was filled with coconut trees and just, coconut tree.
I stood on my feet and looked around me and saw my beloved boat in pieces! I rushed to it and said a little prayer. Rest in piece dear boat.....

I opened the waterproof chamber of the boat and took out the 'emergency kit'. I carried it  opened it hurriedly seeing various types of knives, a lighter and a bullet that shoots red fog along with 2 bullets. Seeing this disappointment was evident on my face as I thought there might be some packed food that I could eat. I sighed and rolled over beside the box and laid down seeing the sky.

It is so hot and there are no clouds in the sky that could protect me from the burning rays of the sun. I laid there waiting if a recue team might come without me making any efforts. It felt like years when I finally stood up after waiting for any rescuers to come around but no one did. I made a plan of lighting a fire and for that I need dry wood.

On walking deep inside the island I could see some fallen trees and I cut some stems that can be lit and carried them back to the shade of the coconut tree near the shore and put them down. After a lot of struggle the fire was burning. I sat near the fire and just stared blankly at the ocean. The ocean which felt home was now making me feel lonely and scared. My stomach growled due to hunger I tried pushing the coconut tree so that I could drink the coconut water but failed miserably.

A small carton floating in the ocean caught my eye, I was not able to figure out what it was but then I remembered it was the box I stored the fishes I caught in. I ran towards the water and swam towards it and carried it on the sand. It was sad that my dried clothes were again wet but i can finally eat something.

After my stomach was full I took a stem and wrote 'HELP' just beside the burning fire. I loved to light a fire but only when I am having a party near the shore with my friends not when I am abandoned in this deserted island. I must find something to drink or I might die from dehydration. Finding courage I once again stood up but now with filled stomach and tied to find any fallen coconut on the ground. I could see some shrubs and walked carefully avoiding anything touching my arms or legs.

while I was walking in search of water I heard the sound of helicopter I quickly ran near the shore carelessly and the small bushes touching my legs and arms. I saw the helicopter and waved both of my arms at them and screamed at top of my lungs," HELP!!" and fired the gun in the air, I could not see the helicopter but could hear it as the red smoke from the gun was floating over my head. i could finally see and saw the helicopter coming towards me. I could cry but when it was landing i fainted.

i woke up and could hear the beeping of the monitors of the hospital and my best friend, Amelia sitting beside me on her phone.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty." she said making me smile and also remembering her warning me to not take that boat.

"Ariana you must have listened to me. You were out for nine hours due to dehydration." she said in a tensed voice.

"Sorry." I said tiredly even when I was sleeping for over nine hours and once again went to sleep.
