Back at Mya's place.

Mya was sleeping in Chris's arms, Chris was a bit worried he knew that it was hard for her after everything that happened and the last thing she needed was for someone to betray her but he could not betray his family.

Mya woke up slowly but Chris was in deep thought. "What's wrong Chris? Chris came out of the trance, huh oh umm morning, Chris you okay, I'm fine, if you say so"

Mya rubbed her eyes and walked towards the bathroom to freshen up.

Chris was trying his best not to stare at her figure, Mya was wearing a loose t-shirt and shorts. She had tied her hair in a bun.

That is when Chris's phone started ringing, "Chris who is it ?", " Umm no one I'll take this call outside it just some personal business"

"Please stop, don't say another word. I know what I have to do." Mya heard this conversation from behind the door. She could not believe that Chris his only friend was working against her. She came back to the room, pretending she knew nothing.

Chris came into the room in a trance. Mya saw him flustered and asked him.

Chris started proceeding towards Mya and gave her a sign to not move. She was confused but did so.

Mya was too stunned to speak and both of them just looked at each other not knowing how to function.

Mya had asked Chris to meet her in a few hours at an abandoned factory just outside their town. before they met she was on a call with their boss from headquarters she told him everything. Mya trusted him with her life he was like a father figure ever since her parents died or rather when they went missing. Mya left the establishment with some determination to get her family back and protect everyone around her even if it meant losing her life. One thing still lingered in her mind, what would she do finally if Chris betrayed her? Though he confessed and seemed determined to help she still didn't know if she could trust him. part of her believed that the one person she had loved for years was still there.
