Love is sacred, they say. But, what if
"Love" becomes a "sin"? "Love is love" is also said. But, then why everyone turns against them when the "written rules" of society are twisted? Why then are they forced apart? Two young boys in love, falling in lust of what seemed heaven to them. Why were they forced apart? The laws of society forced upon them.
A promise, a longing promise of a mother. Shower of care and affection then all gone by a tragic death. Falling in a pit of darkness. Sacrifice for the happiness for the one you love.
With a broken heart, two lived their separate lives, happily, contented. One with a broken heart, one with a burden of guilt, or was it? Such story of love is--------
" Free Fledglings"
There was a blonde boy standing right in front of the huge school building----- " London Collegiate school". He gulped, with a sweatdrop. It was his first day there so nervousness was obviously skyrocketing. He entered the gate, soon finding a field-like place. Then, making his way inside the building. Long hallways, lockers, students chattering. All that hustle boosted his nervousness more and more. He walked, looking around when he bumped into someone, making the other fall on the floor.
The Blonde Boy's POV:
Great start of the day. First day in the school and already bumped into someone and they seemed a bit frustrated by that. It was a boy, he had lavender coloured hair and a pair of black eyes. Over all, he was kinda pretty-- what am I saying?! Help them! Gosh dang it.
" Watch where you're going." The boy, who had fallen, got up himself and brushed the dust from his jacket. The blonde, did not know what to say,
" Sorry" he said, awkwardly. The boy started to leave, when he--
" Hey-- uhm, wait a minute!" He called again. The lavender head, turned back to him, a bit confused it seemed.
Calling him, now the blonde was realising he was out of words and the words just slipped his mouth, he, in reality, did not have anything to say.
The Lavender Haired Boy's POV:
The hell? First, that guy bumped into me, then he called me and now isn't saying anything... He's kinda weird. I haven't seen him before. Is he new here?
" Hey-.. if you have anything to say, just say it. I'm kinda on a time crunch." The lavender haired boy, said himself.
Now, the blonde felt more awkward and new addition of emotion, he felt incredibly embarrassed. He had to reply now.
" Uhm-.. mind telling me where the principal's office is? I'm new here." He finally spat out. The other boy tilted his head a bit, really? Took that long to  say just that? " Whatever." He thought. Taking a step forward, he offered his hand, as a gesture of handshake, " Of course, dude!" He smiled warmly, and shook his hand,  "Could've said that earlier!"
The Blonde Boy's POV:
I shook his hand and gave a slight grin to his words. He seems friendly and nice. I honesty expected him to be a bit rude from his appearance but guess not. I should really stop judging people from their appearance. Maybe, I should introduce myself now.
" I'm Alec Smith, by the way."
Nevermind, he did it first. Well, at least I made a friend here, better than--- nevermind.
" Yeah, I'm Louis Williams! Nice to meet you."
He smiled in return, and led me to the principal's office. On our way there, he was silent. Not much of a talkative person I suppose. I was observing him, his skin was pale, he had a couple of bandages on his face, arms.
" Hey-- uhm, we are here." Alec told him pointing at the door in front of him. Louis nodded, and waved him bye as he left.
Alec's POV:
Well, that guy sure was nice. Hell, I'm late--- I need to get to class! I ran to my lockers now putting the books away then rushing to my class. Yet, in this hurry, I felt enthusiastic, not sure why.. I was smiling and running towards the lockers. Maybe, that guy was special, what was his name again? Right, Louis.
Louis got his schedule for the day. As he left, he was confused where the classes were, the number of his locker. " 6D.. " he mumbled to himself. Now it was time to search for the class. "It's gonna be long day."
He stood in middle of the hallway, holding the paper in front of him and scratching his head, as he has been searching for his class for past 15 minutes. He looked frustrated and let out a sigh. Again, he began to search.
Another 10 minutes later:
Louis's POV:
Damn it. Where the hell is 6D?! I've been searching for at least 30 minutes now. I'm sure class has started already. No one's in the hallways, I can't even seek help now. What a first day experience!
A teacher saw Louis and asked him,   "Boy, do you not have classes?" The blonde looked at the teacher. He confessed his problem to him. The teacher, hearing all that, looked at him weirdly and then told him, " Boy, 6D is in second floor.. this is first floor."
He looked at the teacher, disbelief clear in his face. For this past 30 minutes he's been searching in the wrong floor? Really? He, once again, felt incredibly embarrassed and his face heating up, in such shame. He thanked the teacher, and ran towards his class now.
Meanwhile in the class, the news of a new transferred students arriving in the school had spread around the students. They were all discussing about it, hence there was a bit hustle in the room. At this moment the teacher walked in. Her voice rose over the chatter,
" Good morning, students. As many of you already know, there is a new transferred student joining us today." The class quietened, some whispers were heard. The teacher had paused for a moment, probably waiting for the student. " Maybe they're running a bit late-" she looked out the door,
( uhm yeah just a "little" late. Only 25 minutes )
She turned to the students and continued, " We shall continue our lessons. What chapter-"
At that moment, the new student burst through the door, panting heavily and sweating. All eyes were fixed on him. Some students again whispered again. " Catch your breath, boy." The teacher advised. Louis nodded and wiped the sweat from his forehead. He walked upto the middle of the class. His anxiety kicked in again, breaths getting sharper, and his hands fidgeting.
" Introduce yourself boy."
With a nod, he started again, " Hello everyone." He paused for a moment, awkwardness kicked in again, collecting his thoughts again, " My name is Loius Williams." He introduced himself, then ending with slight grin forced over his raising anxiety. The teacher, then started looking around the room trying to find a seat for the new student. Only seat empty was beside the lavender head, who had raised his hand as the teacher asked Loius to sit there.
Loius's POV:
I don't know what it was with the fact that I was sitting beside Alec, but it soothed my anxiety. It was probably because I was sitting beside someone I knew, and not a random dude. Maybe.
" We meet again." He whispered. I look at him, he had a smile on his face, as he spoke. At that momemt, I felt something I couldn't quite explain, my cheeks heated up, and I felt nervouse, a little. I caught myself looking at him several times, during our classes and each time I would look away in embarrassment.
He caught me once, " you okay?" I just nodded abd looked away, not wanting to make it more awkward than it already was. After that, both of us focused on the lessons.
The bell for lunch rang. Students were leaving classes, soon enough locker rooms hallways got crowded, especially cafeteria. Some ate at the tables gossiping with friends while eating weather they had brought food from home or purched it from cafeteria. Louis had purchased a can of soda and burger. Then, he made he made his way to the cafeteria tables. No space. He let out of a sigh, then walked towards his class. Maybe, he'd eat alone in the class. Really, it was better than sitting in such a crowded place, his social anxiety could never.
On the other hand, Alec was sitting in the class. He came straight back in after puting his stuff in the locker. He wouldn't bother to go to cafeteria. There was no point, he was running short on his lunch money. Getting his siblings ready for the day was stressful enough, in addition making lunch for himself. Often days, he wouldn't have time to make anything for himself. He's used to it. As hunger pain rose, he held his stomach tightly, furrowing his face in pain. Letting out a sigh, he looked out of the window, and leaned on his desk.
   Louis POV:
I walked into the room, expecting it to be empty. To my surprise, it seemed, Alec was there. Had had his head on the desk, and seemed to have been clutching his jacket tightly-- which, I'll be honest, concerned me a bit. Is he okay...? I approached him. " Hey." He shot up his head, in surprise, maybe he wasn't expecting anyone in here. I apolozised for startling him but he waved it off, with a slight grin. I sat beside him, and put my food on the desk, " is it okay if I sit here?" I asked, not wanting to make him uncomfortable, in silence. With another smile, he nodded. I was about to take a bite off my burger, when I don't know what struck my mind, I asked if he had eaten already. He fell silent.
Alec's POV:
"If I had eaten.." I qouted the words again, mumbling under my breath. What excuse should I make? Forgot my lunch? Didn't bring my lunch money? Ugh.. gosh dang it.
" Yeah! I have!" I simply lied, ignoring the hunger cramps which were hurting like hell.
Louis nodded not thinking much about it. He took a bite off his food, munching on it and eventually taking a few sips of his soda. As he ate, he felt a gaze on him. Turning, it was Alec.
" You sure you're okay man?" He asked. Alec nodded, a bit more aggressivly now, the pink tint over his face had not yet calmed down. So, he looked out of the window again.
   Alec's POV:
Damn it Alec! Why the hell am I like this?! I shouldn't have looked at him at way. He must think I'm a total freak now.
He clutched onto his jacket again as the cramps rose again. Louis seemed to have catch onto what happened, he let out a chuckle. " You haven't eaten, have you?"
No point in lying now. Alec nodded no now, then looked down. " You can have my burger if you want. I've bought two." He said, offering him the box. Alec turned to him, surprised.  "What? " he blantly spoke, reconfirming the words spoken to him. The guy infront of him looked unfazed though. He pulled out the burger and handed it to him. " I bought one for my sister. You have it, I'll buy one for her on my way home."
Louis's offer flattered Alec. Sure enough, he did not expect that. Although, at the moment, he would eat anything rather than these killing cramps. He took the burger and gobbled it without chewing. Almost chocking, and coughing. Louis covered his face as he laughed, " slow down, dude."
After a minute, Alec was fine. He thanked his new friend for the food which he only said it was no big deal. Then, for no appearent reason, both the teens laughed out. Probably for the awkwardness of the situatation they were in.
The lunch, that day, had gone very well for both of them. Finding someone to care for you insn't easy.
   Days, months even years passed
and the flow of time continued as its own. Two young teens got closer to each other---- like best friends or did they want to be more than that? Who knows. It had been three years now. Both were 17 years old now. Only thing they didn't know was----- the year was to bring so much for them.. goods and bads. Who knows what the future holds...? Maybe they would grow closer.. maybe not.. Maybe they would break apart.. Maybe not. Who knows.
