I woke up tightly wrapped in Hudson's warm body and took that time to stare at him. No wonder the ladies loved him, he was a really good looking man.

I trailed my hand lightly across his face before I slapped him and he awoke instantly "Ow! Shit what the hell Kat?" He glared at me.

"I was bored." I said simply.

From a young age, I couldn't stand being awake while everyone else was asleep, I'd get bored so I would wake them up, it really annoyed José and André but they eventually got used to it, Hudson on the other hand still finds it annoying which is why he pushed me off the bed just now and went back to sleep.

"Hudson" I said in a whiny voice and stood up from the floor.

"It's 8:30 on a Saturday morning Kat, leave me alone." He mumbled, his voice muffled by the pillow.

I pouted but left him alone and went into the bathroom to take a shower. After my morning routine I peeked into my room and saw that Hudson was still asleep, I sighed then went and made myself breakfast.

My phone rang while I was sat on the sofa with a bowl of cereal watching reruns of 2 Broke girls.

I leaned over to grab the phone then smiled as soon as I saw the caller id.

"Hey Amy" I answered.

"Kat! I need your help."

I frowned "You're not in any trouble are you?" I asked worriedly, Amy was like my little sister. In as much as Hudson was protective over her, so was I. Just not as crazy as he was though.

"What? No. I want you to come and help me pick out a Prom dress." She answered excitedly.

"Oh my gosh yes!" I said and immediately put the bowl down as I stood up. "I'll be there in an hour."

I hung up then went into the bedroom where Hudson was still snoring soundly. I  took off the swears that I was wearing and went into the closet and put on black leggings, one of Hudson's hoodies and uggs.

I then went over to the bed and shook Hudson trying to get him to wake up but he didn't budge.

"Hey, wake up." I said shaking him and he merely shifted and burrowed further into the pillow.

I eventually gave up then left my apartment and went straight into the apartment across the hall, which happened to be Hudson's.

Yes, we live across the hall from each other and have keys to one another's apartments. Don't you look at me with those judgy eyes! It's what best friends do.

I let myself into his apartment and got his car keys seeing that I don't have a car because I find it unecessary, I live in New York, the place is crawling with cabs and there's the subway, having a car would just be pointless and a waste of money.

After grabbing his keys I went down to the garage area climbed into Hudson's "baby", his ridiculously expensive black Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale and drove to Staten Island to pick up Amy for our day of shopping.

In the drive over my thoughts were racing thinking about everything in my life. I felt a little bit unfulfilled and I know that it has nothing to do with being single or whatever it was just my whole life: my career, what I wanted in life.

I never had time to really think about it because I was so sure that I wanted to finish school and work for the family business but now I just felt unsure.
