PAUL'S POV:

I kissed her forehead as I got into my truck speeding towards Emily's house. I got a call from Sam. He said there'll be a war with some powerful vampires soon. I had to go and hear it for myself. This......cant be true.

As I parked my car by the curb I got out as I saw the guys huddled up. "Well well well look who finally got here."

"The princess was enjoying her beauty sleep,"remarked Embry as he cut off Quil. I playfully acted like I was gonna hit them as Embry flinched. They laughed as I made my way to Sam. "Hey hows it going?" I nodded. "Good.... Is it true?"

"The Cullen girl said she felt "off" and how somehow there will be a war against them but shes not sure when,"he said. I shook my head as I held my head. "So what should we do now?" "We continue our patrol shifts and we patrol with bigger groups now instead of partners."he huffed. "Yeah I agree,"I said as we walked inside the house.

"JESUS THIS HOUSE IS FULL,"yelled Emily. I laughed as I saw Jared mimicking her. "God Paul why didn't you bring Arabella?"she asked as she turned the stove on. "I was in a rush and well a bit worried about everything I don't want her worried about all of this,"I said sitting on the couch. "Well I'm making dinner soon so you can stay as long as you want." I smiled as I grabbed my phone.

A FEW HOURS LATER

ARIA'S POV:

After paul left I decided to catch up on some work but after hours of no reply from paul I got worried. I changed into some jeans and a white crop top as I got into my car. I drove to the reservation as I knocked on Emilys door.

There was no response only loud voices so I pushed the door open seeing all the guys on the kitchen table talking while Emily served the food. "Arabella omg how are you?" said Emily embracing me in a hug. I smiled as I hugged her back. "Im good thank you and of course your as per usual beautiful as ever." She laughed as she continued to serve the food. "Hi guys whatcha doing?"I asked as they waited for the food.

"Hi ariiii is Paul treating you right?? Cause if not im the best it gets,"said Embry pointing at himself. I chuckled as he raised his eyebrows. "Yeah everything good and I'll keep that in mind,"I said winking. His eyes lit up as he looked at the guys. "Speaking of Paul where is he?"I asked. "Oh Pauls on the couch he said he was tired and I'm pretty sure he just fell asleep like two seconds ago,"said Seth. I mouthed a thank you as I walked towards the couch.

I turned the corner seeing paul sleep peacefully. I smiled as I slowly sat by his head. I ran my fingers through his head as he cuddled into me; his eyes peered open. "Hey pretty,"he said sitting up. "No no Paul go back to sleep you look really tired babe,"I said pushing his head back down. "I'll go back to sleep if you lay with me."

"Dont you think it'll be really rude were here at Em's house paullll,"I said dragging out the L. "Come onn,"he pleaded. "Fine." He reached out holding my waist as I laid on top of him on the couch. Slowly falling asleep with him.

30 MINUTES LATER.....

"Hey dont you think this is so rude? There like being all lovey dovey on the couch,"—- Jared

"Hmm I think so,"—— Seth

"Guys if Paul hadn't imprinted I would've so gone for Aria I mean look it her shes so pretty,"—-Embry

"Jesus Embry shut up Pauls gonna hear you and beat you to a pulp,"—— Quil

"Nahh but im so serious..... heyyy I have an idea."—-Embry

"NO NO EMBRY you can't pour water on Pauls face hes gonna get so mad,"——Seth
