F I N E L I N E ; {Paul Lahote}

{ 31 } DURING AND AFTER COLLEGE

"Hey Aria it's time to wake up."     "W-What time is it?"

"It's 8 pm."

"Did they leave already?"

"Yup." I grabbed the pillow nearest and hit paul with it. "OWW what was that for?"

"You didn't wake me up to say bye PAUl!" He chuckled as I sat up.

"If it makes you feel any better we had to forcefully pull Jayden off you he kept saying he didn't want to leave Bella alone."

"YOUR SO MEAN PAUL!" I got up putting my shoes on.

We walked down the stairs seeing Jack sitting on the couch. "It's time already?"he asked. "yup." He pulled me into a hug as I hugged him back. "Take care of yourself Arabella." "I will thank you," I said pulling away. I entered the passengers seat as Paul got in.

"They're still open right?" "The dorms yes." The drive was calm we talked about everything. I wanted to make sure that things with Paul and his mom didn't go bad. He said she's moving to forks. At least she'll be close. Jayden's dad isn't in the picture anymore. Paul said he'll try his best to get to know his mom.

"This is it,"remarked Paul.

"Yup."

I felt this overwhelming sadness fall over me. With everything happening to quick I didn't know what to think. Paul grabbed my face as he stared into my eyes. "I'll come over all the time Aria."

"I know Im just....I don't know it's too fast."

I felt a tear roll down my face. He used his thumb to wipe the tears away. He snaked his arms around my waist holding me close.

"I love you Arabella."

This made me smile as I muttered,"I love you too Paul."

I got on my tipe-toes pulling his face down to kiss him. His hand pushed the small of my back towards him as he kissed me aggressively. After a few minutes he finally pulled back knowing he had to stay goodbye. I hugged him one last time as he walked away.

A FEW WEEKS INTO THE SEMESTER:

Mattheo talks about how lucky I am that I wasn't assigned a roommate. I mean I am but I'm so regretting choosing the "dorm experience". It's so fucking cold. It's been a couple months since I started college. About 5 months. Ive seen Paul 2 times a month. Due to him on Patrol. I asked him a few weeks ago to move in with me. Well not here in college but back home. He says yes but he was hesitant when he heard that Mattheo was giving the house to us. It's been one hell of a week with finals coming up.

I finally finished my physiology final. I entered my dorm as I locked the door behind me. I immediately took off my leggings as I untied my hair. I turned off the light as I fell asleep.

I opened my eyes to see I was In a corn-maze. I walked and walked for what felt like hours. I was pushed down by a gust of wind as I fell into a spiral. Opening my eyes again I landed on snow. I grabbed the snow with my hands as I heard yelling. I looked up finally seeing the battle. I got up seeing the Cullens fighting against the voltouri. I turned to the right seeing Paul fight against a vampire with Seth on his side. Not again..... I once more saw Paul fall into the ground dying right in front of my eyes.

"NOOO!"I yelled out. I sat up in the dark as I gasped for air. "This isn't happening again,"I whispered. I pressed my hand over my heart as I tried to calm down. I felt a breeze hit my spine as I got goosebumps all over my body. I shivered as I looked up. My room was dark but I looked to the corner of my room seeing a dark figuire. I grabbed my pillow and threw it.
