Rain fell, water droplets hit the land in the Wall Maria territory. Instantly made the active and bright scenery in those area that was once a wall with the largest human population became sad and gloomy, covered by the melodious sound of rain. Traders and active workers, housewives and even soldiers from the Garrison chose not to be outside, protecting themselves from the water which would make them feel cold and for people with weak immunity, fall ill.

Half of the day was coloured by sunny weather, no one could have predicted that it would rain in the late afternoon. Including the Scout soldiers, especially the Levi Squad.

They were assigned to help with construction outside Wall Maria today, according to the schedule made by Hange, and will leave the Wall territory the day after tomorrow with the equipment and materials they need. Luckily, they had almost finished their task and decided to take shelter in one of the cafes near the Wall.

"Woah, i'm soaked..." Jean muttered. He used one arm to lift a box containing stationery and the other held several strands of his hair which were clearly soaking wet. Compared to the others, he wasn't so lucky with his luggage which would obviously be damaged if it came into contact with water. As a result, he had to become a shield to protect the box he was carrying now.

"I told you. It's going to rain this afternoon. You guys didn't listen to me." Sasha answered in a slightly sulking tone. Connie, who was next to the girl with the pony tail, elbowed her lightly. "It can't be helped, we have to buy these supplies if we want our mission to build something outside of Wall Maria successful." Connie helped Sasha dry her clothes by draining the water from the hem of Sasha's clothes.

"Connie's right, Sasha. We can't afford another major failure." A husky voice with a calm tone suddenly answered.

The source of the voice came from Eren. His dark brown hair was soaked, making the strands limp and sticking to his forehead. Water droplets flowed from his bangs and hair which was starting to grow longer than his ears, and the droplets fell on his tunic shirt with a neckline that showed off his collarbone.

There were several gasps.

Jean could see one of the water droplets that landed on Eren's smooth, honey brown forehead going down, past his thick black eyebrows. When Eren lowered his head slightly to shake off his t-shirt, in an attempt to dry his wet clothes, the water droplets managed to land and fall on Eren's eyelashes.

Jean had heard several soldiers, veterans and new recruits, talking about Eren. Eren is not someone who is not famous. All of humanity from the wall world, perhaps not all of them, knew the name of the holder of the title of Humanity's Last Hope. Some people call him a monster, others call him someone born to bring miracles. Victory. A key that brings glory and truth to mankind. Regardless, only a small number of people have ever seen Eren Jeager in person.

Only military regiments and a few ordinary people, have ever seen Eren Jeager. Considering that Eren is a person who only has one clear goal, Eren can only be found when training, studying, or on rotational duty guarding a military base. Apart from that? Eren is not the type of person who likes to go out and explore places, preferring to spend his time honing his fighting skills and studying. At least, that's what the cadets from the 104th class knew.

(For a moment, Jean discovered the reason why that short-tempered bastard was able to enter the top 10 rankings. That bastard worked his ass off to achieve his dream; entering the Survey Corps-and managed to drag all the cadets-including himself, into the Survey Corps. Damn.)

One of the topics that people who have seen Eren Jeager always talk about is his appearance. His face, to be exact. For people who only look at him in terms of his quick explosive behavior (short tempered, Jean laughed mockingly) and his natural desire to jump into dangerous situation, they can only say that Eren is an intense green-eyed boy who always looks angry. (They're not wrong, though. Jean also thinks Eren is the definition of anger.)
